Got it, and feel like the designers wated their time and I wasted my money. MOO2 was way better than MOO1, so I thought that MOO3 would be way better than MOO2, wrong, MOO2 is also way better than MOO3. From graphics to gameplay, my advice is, if you have MOO2 stick with it, if you got MOO3, either try to get MOO2 or exchange it for Galactic Civilizations.

Yep, just like I said before, it was starting to look worse and worse before, now it hit the fan (or fans ). It's floping big time. I don't know wether to laugh because Microsoft is caught with their pants down, or to cry because they basically lied and I won't get what was promised.

Man, that latest Total War looks awesome, and finally true 3d. I have every edition of that series, they all rock. Can't wait till this one is out.

How about commercial pilots?

Basically a newer version of Freespace. It's cool, I remember just poping it in and blasting the badies.

Yeah, ok, taking down outposts in a fighter, and frankly those screens suck.... badly. I was so excited about this game, now I think that it looks just plain out ugly, and is nothing like privateer, but rather like an arcade shoot em up style game, forget the PR bloated storyline advertisements, from those screens it looks like all you are doing is taking on 20 fighters at a time and blowing up space stations, all from a little one person fighter, what a bunch of bull, this heats me up, gonna go cool down.....

One of my friends actually refused to work at his regular job for a while because he racked up so much income for that year that 2 thousand $ more would get him into the next tax bracket and he would loose a ton of money. So how does it figure out? Work more, get taxed even more? Yeah, what an idea. Sounds to me like a way to control your income instead of making a fair taxasion.

The system requirements seem to be way too low for the game that's freelancer is supposed to be, and 16mb 3d card, 600Mhz? Makes me very nervous.

12 inches in a foot, 6000 feet in a mile. It's very simple. I was born in Russia and we use metric system. Then I came here and finished my schooling in US, got used to their system. Both systems are fine as long as you know how to use it. So the advantage of multipliers of ten to just remembering your units are rather miniscule considering how many people you would have to switch over, and I like the way altitude sounds in feet, it's 6,000 feet up rather than 1828 meters, sounds much higher

LOL, that's way too funny. I can just imagine Derek sitting behind his computer, rubbing his hands and crashing Starfleet Command boards "another one down!!!". LOL

And one more thing. Sky marshals WILL shoot at the terrorist while he is in a passenger compartment. So think about that. Also if the pilots don't have guns and terrorist enters the cockpit and starts brawling with the pilots then we are way at a dissadvantage. You can't even get up, not only are you straped inn at all times, but there's no room to get up, as the only walkway is behind the seats, where the terrorist would be standing, so try fighting someone while you are straped into a chair with limited room move your hands around.

Oh yeah, "if a pilot goes crazy". Let me see, when was the last time a pilot went crazy and when was the last time the plane got hijacked and pilots killed? Look here budy. The pilot is not going to shoot at the terrorist in the aisles. He is going to shoot the terrorist when he tries to ENTER the cockpit. As in when the terrorist is no longer in passenger compartment. So you don't have to worry about your butt getting a bullet in it, after the terrorist gets up and comes towards the cockpit who do you think he is going after? You? He wants to neutralize the pilot and then he has his own goals. You are the last thing on his list. So I want to be protected and people like you aren't letting that happen. I want to have the right to shoot the guy who is trying to kill me. Not sit there or worse get into a brawl in that tiny cockpit. I want to be able to just turn around and shoot whoever picks through that door, don't even need to aim because a one eyed criple could point a gun at a door that wide and not miss.

Let me clear this up. All games have a storyline, but some games don't have a random gameplay option. Like for example, Hostile Waters had a storyline, but it didn't have an option where you just select a map, build up your stuff and destroy the enemy. If all there is to the game is the storyline, then it's not really worth it. Once you beat it, there is zero replayability, and that is not only nostalgic but very dissapointing at the end. That's exactly why strategy games (mostly) rock. Take Medieval Total War, it got a storyline, and then you can also pick a race and just play "conquer the world" mode, in which random events still happen to make gameplay interesting and adds some "meat" to it, while you are basically free to go about it anyway you want, no repeats of failed missions (which is the most annoying part of storyline games). That is also why I still think that Mig Alley is the best flight sim to date. It had random missions in every campaign. Also IL 2 Sturmovik kicks butt when you download the random campaign generator.

Read a preview about this game a long time ago, and after realizing that it was linear I promptly forgot about it. I passionately hate linear games. I mean it's fine if it has a storyline, but if you can't just go out on your own, or continue playing after the storyline is over, then the game is a complete waste. That's my point, and I am sticking to it like I have for all these years.

That's why you try to make yourself happy. Like buying a Harley at 30, skydiving, visiting different places. All that brakes the monotone.

Does anyone here fly fish? I used to fish with bait back years ago, but somehow just stoped (other things taking up time), now I really started missing it and was thinking of learning something different. So if anyone fly fishes and can tell me if it's relaxing, and something you can do all day, I would love to hear some stories, pointers, experiences, basically anything. Anyhow, go for it.

I don't think minimum wage is the same around the country. Here in CA it's $6.75, but you still can't buy anything, you can't even rent a studio appartment at that wage. Well, $ilk, you are surely on the fast track. Congradulations and hope it works out for you. A wife, kids and a house. Now start saving for that Harley .

A major thing to consider about 3d card is driver support. Meaning the frequency of new drivers, their stability, and if the company is fast at working out any glitches. In my opinion Nvidia is still in the lead. So take your pick carefully.

I have a P4 1.6 and I am VERY happy with it. It runs all the games great, and after my last upgrade (from P3 533) it's a very noticable performance jump (no slowdowns). The only slowdowns I will have is when my HD gets down to about 2gigs free space (which says that it's more of a HD being filled rather than proc. slowdown), and after I reformat/reinstall, it runs faster than falcon dives (200+ mph ). So that lawsuit is pure *censored*, and I hopey they not only loose but get countersued by Intel for image defamation.
