Akira, I also have MoS. If $ilk's friend doesn't come up with the goods, let me know. I haven't played it for a couple of years and the manual is in German, but I'm pretty sure the gameplay is English. If you're interested, let me know and I'll fire it up quickly to check.

Afetr reading Menchise's post, I went and tried the demo and to be quite honest I found it totally uninspiring; cartoony graphics and same old bog-standard RTS gameplay. I know they used the AoE licence / engine or whatever, but it was just AoE with SW units (and I got bored with AoE2 VERY quickly. Force Commander had potential, but at the time my PC wasn't up to scratch and it got very mixed reviews. They could have done something very special with that, but no. Another Lucasarts bomb. 2 things: Any Brits remember 'Not the Nine O'Clock News' from the 80s? There was one sketch about being 'Proud to be Stout' and an extremist organisation F.L.A.B. - Fat Louts Against Bikinis. Bloody funny stuff, really. Did you know that Non-Insulin-Dependant Diabetes is actually a default condition? Basically, unless we lead a fairly active lifestyle and eat a relatively balanced diet, we will remain healthy. Stop doing that and you get a fairly high chance of developing diabetes. Yes there are obesity genes, but generally fat people eat too much and don't do enough exercise. Simple really.

You know, I was flying back from Prague a week after the WTC incident and there was a Middle-Eastern guy in our departure lounge and I had this thought go through my head, 'What if?'. I immediately slapped myself mentally; I'd made an assumption about this guy because of his race, something I'd promised myself I'd never do. What am I trying to say? I'm not sure, maybe we all go through 'profiling' subconciously, due to experiences or upbringing or our social environment. In a way it's part of human nature, to put you on your guard based on your experiences. There was actually an article in a British paper a few weeks ago about a young British Internet entrepeneur who had to sell his Porsche Boxster because he had been pulled over by the busies a ridiculous number of times in the first month of owning the car, just because he was a young guy driving an expensive car. In the eyes of the cops, that meant there was a fair chance he had stolen it, and they admitted that to him once everything had checked out. I also had a close friend in the UK who didn't trust blacks (vehemently sometimes), just because he'd had a few bad experiences with dickheads who happened to be black. He was a totally rational guy otherwise (except for his penchant for strong Lager).

OK, misrepresentation is probably a better description. I just hate it when they get details wrong. Happens a lot with scientific/medical stories.

Melanie650, did you find out which version of Mediaplayer you have? I had the same problem in the demos, till I realised I had an older version of Mediaplayer and it wasn't playing some explosion .avis. A way to test this is to go to the folder which contains the explosions (don't remember where) and try and play them separately. If they won't play, it's probably your Mediaplayer. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Now that BCM is rapidly winging its way around the world, when can we expect to see more reviews? Have you had any feedback yourself SC?

Wow! Thanks Tekrebel, posted my problem in the Speedguide forum and some guy helped me step by step how to change my MTU (now sitting at 1454 BTW, instead of the default 1500). Can now access all links (also put in a registry tweak patch to accelerate page-loading times) Great resource, thanks again.
