If you destroy a starstation, then that's pretty much it. You get some experience, maybe the occasional pod (correct me if I'm wrong here) and that's about it. If you attempt to dock with it when it goes into SOS mode, however, you will capture the station and turn it over to your side, which can be rather handy as you no doubt figured out You need to do this when it's in SOS mode though, meaning right before it's destroyed.. tricky, but very possible! ------------------ Cmdr. It may work, but for the record, anybody who reads this shouldn't come crying for help if the game starts acting a bit wierd after doing so.. probably the worst that could happen is some graphics corruption, and of course the best being nothing at all, but Dos and dos/semi-dos based programs don't take kindly to being minimized and shoved out of the way Just a quick warning. Probably a wild shot in pitch-darkness, but try cleansing your temp dir of all the junk in there. Go into WindowsTemp and delete all the files in there, then try installing again. Anyways, just a wild stab in the dark, when you get the illegal operation error, smack that "Details" button and tell us what it says.. like "BC3k caused an invalid page fault in Glide2x.dll" or something of that kind.. what does it say? ------------------ Cmdr.
