  1. I cant be 100% sure about this, but I think it was showing on Sky One early mornings as part of the half term break from school TV. I never saw anything other than previews of it, but It look kinda cool. However, bugs give me the creeps somthing evil ( Yet another long story of mine - Basically involves a horror LARP event I attended and a chicken sarnie crammed with the lil beggars ) so I doubt I'll be checking it out any time soon. ------------------ F.C KARL 'BLADES' SAVAGE ORION FLEET TSUNAMI BATTLE GROUP GCV - TSUNAMI Ôäó www.orion-hq.fsnet.co.uk 'For Queen and country'
  2. In the post. If it's not up to snuff, I'm gonna shoot myself before anyone else gets the chance.
  3. Arghh, this week has been busy. Still, I've reworked the original document into somthing better than it was before (Yeah I know, it wasnt wonderful - But I have been very busy) and I'm just sortin the hmtl version. It will be zipped n posted within 24. ------------------ F.C KARL 'BLADES' SAVAGE ORION FLEET TSUNAMI BATTLE GROUP GCV - TSUNAMI Ôäó www.orion-hq.fsnet.co.uk 'For Queen and country'

Good man Foss. Where are the rest of you lot?
  5. Many thanks to Greg for his help in resolving one of my many current nightmares. Take heed gents, this man is the best Executive Officer in the Fleet. Anyone thinking of poaching him will have to prize his mojo from my cold, dead hands. I own him. Rattler, SC, thanks for the patience. ------------------ F.C KARL 'BLADES' SAVAGE ORION FLEET TSUNAMI BATTLE GROUP GCV - TSUNAMI Ôäó www.orion-hq.fsnet.co.uk 'For Queen and country'
  6. Right, by my count, only MZ-139 (Polaris-2, Moon02) is still ORION property. I'm glad I get to keep this one, cos this is needed. However, I'm also very keen to keep hold of MZ-70 (Tramis, Moon02), and so long as Tac doesnt object too strongly (Makes more sense for ORION to have this facility really) I'm gonna plant a 'Tresspassers will be shot, beaten and towel flicked' notice in the dirt. That just gives me somthing like 12 hours to find two new locations for my other assets. Bummer. Didnt I mention how busy I was this week? ------------------ F.C KARL 'BLADES' SAVAGE ORION FLEET TSUNAMI BATTLE GROUP GCV - TSUNAMI Ôäó www.orion-hq.fsnet.co.uk 'For Queen and country' [This message has been edited by Blades (edited 03-29-2000).]

A while ago, I began taking profiles from you tardy lot. This included commander and ship profiles. I'll soon be adding that to the web site again, but I've decided it might be nice to have a visual representation of my fellow commanders to accompany it on the site. So, if you got a half decent head and shoulders pic of yourself (Or someone else if you a bit self conscious) you wanna share with your fellows, mail it to me and I'll modify it and include it on the site. Dont worry, my gorgeous mug will be on there too. (I've decided ORION needs a female only Battle Group, and what better way to draw them here than my showing off the handsome Fleet Commander? ) Post here if you got somthing for me. ------------------ F.C KARL 'BLADES' SAVAGE ORION FLEET TSUNAMI BATTLE GROUP GCV - TSUNAMI Ôäó www.orion-hq.fsnet.co.uk 'For Queen and country'

  13. Ok, thats a reasonable turnout for a start. Where the hell are the rest of you? Look - I'm going to make this nice and simple. I'm getting tired of workin my butt off, night and day on the website, coordinating efforts with Greg, Carlton, Xlogic and Foss on strategies and policies that are designed to benefit everyone in my Fleet and NOT have my commanders do me the honor of stopping by and reporting in. Yes, it's a game, yes, it's not as important as real life, but YES, you have this simple duty to perform, and I expect it to be done. Sign in or sign off, your call. ------------------ F.C KARL 'BLADES' SAVAGE ORION FLEET TSUNAMI BATTLE GROUP GCV - TSUNAMI Ôäó www.orion-hq.fsnet.co.uk 'For Queen and country'
  14. Ok gang, listen up. I've been thinking a lot recently about our game strategy come BC:M, and I've come to the conclusion that our current set up (As in Battle Group Deployment) needs upgrading. How? Nice n simple this. We all come from different time zones, which makes it difficult for us to properly plan and execute an operation. So, from now until the next revision (If I alter things again, get Greg to give me a smack) we are doubling the size of every active Battle Group to a total of 18 ships. However, these 18 ships are going to be divided in seperate watches. Daywatch (Populated with the european commanders - Those close to a GMT time anyway) and the Nightwatch (Populated by American commanders, or those approx -5/6 hrs GMT) So, I need to know everyones exact location. I need to know what time zone they are in. I need to configure TBG Alpha and Beta (Not to mention the DBG and future BG's) quickly, so we can all see who's gonna ge watchin our asses in the near future. Other Fleet Commanders that are viewing this, I would suggest a similar strategy be put in place before we get swamped and confused. Anyway, Orion commanders, hop to it. Post here. NOW. I need those details, STAT. ------------------ F.C KARL 'BLADES' SAVAGE ORION FLEET TSUNAMI BATTLE GROUP GCV - TSUNAMI Ôäó www.orion-hq.fsnet.co.uk 'For Queen and country' [This message has been edited by Blades (edited 03-23-2000).]
  15. Greg, we got some tardy commanders to chase up on. See to it would you.
  16. What happened to my post? ..I deleted it because (a) you posted while I was composing mine ( it was not in line with what this thread is about. (the fact that I'm responding within your post, should tell you that this is a serious thread and I don't want it polluted). [This message has been edited by Supreme Cmdr (edited 03-22-2000).] I'm thinking I'm gonna get into trouble by saying this, but I'm crying foul. I do not believe my post was in any way NOT in line with what was stated in thread opener. I believed my post to be a reasonal description of possible explanations to the five outlined points. Fair enough if it was removed because you decided to post some relevant history and it got in the way, but removing it and saying it was out of line and polluting the board? I think thats a bit harsh. Anyway, I'm off to the airlock. [This message has been edited by Blades (edited 03-22-2000).]
  17. The MP aspect, at least in coop mode is fun, but the game looks horrible. So I binned it. ------------------ F.C KARL 'BLADES' SAVAGE ORION FLEET TSUNAMI BATTLE GROUP GCV - TSUNAMI Ôäó www.orion-hq.fsnet.co.uk 'For Queen and country'
  18. Correctly assumed Foss. Suggest you check the OWS and make not of your new assignment.
  19. I tend to agree with GREGS assesmnent. Putting Destiny in the midst of all the GalCOm stations in the area seems a little far fetched. GalCom would have really had to mess up on it's intel to allow that to happen. Also, from a strategic point of view, that sorta surrounds the new ORION station a tad. Not that I have a problem fighting a war on two fronts of course. If the placement is final, so be It, we can all live with it and will probably develope a strategy to combat it (I'm gonna go watch Zulu again) and keep those bunnies in check. Oh, and Rattler? Dont you point that bloody spear at me! ------------------ F.C KARL 'BLADES' SAVAGE ORION FLEET TSUNAMI BATTLE GROUP GCV - TSUNAMI Ôäó www.orion-hq.fsnet.co.uk 'For Queen and country'
  20. Well, whats done is done. Monsta no.7 has been selected, approved and parked. Unfortunately, the moving guys overskipped Europa and plonked it down in Centris. Not to worry, makes a change for us to get out a bit, and I hear Alpha Centauri is nice this time of year. Just be careful of our neighbours. Oh, and before I forget, theres some big assed asteroid not too far away. Look familiar to you? Break out the double barrels gang, we got bunnies to evict. And dont forget to check in at the Orion Web Site often. Not only does it have a nice new look, but it also has our new home on the front page. If I dont see an extra 100 hits by the time I get up in the morning, I'm gonna get GMAN to start puttin the bromide back in your tea. Hop to it! ------------------ F.C KARL 'BLADES' SAVAGE ORION FLEET TSUNAMI BATTLE GROUP GCV - TSUNAMI Ôäó www.orion-hq.fsnet.co.uk 'For Queen and country'
  21. I know you guys are busy scratchin heads over everything else thats goin on in here the last couple of hours, but I think I should mention that the FLASH site has come down and been replaced with somthing a little less cartoony. Same address, new face. Go look, go love, go post. Everyone and anyone is welcome. I need those extra hits. ------------------ F.C KARL 'BLADES' SAVAGE ORION FLEET TSUNAMI BATTLE GROUP GCV - TSUNAMI Ôäó www.orion-hq.fsnet.co.uk 'For Queen and country'
  22. Ah Centris, how fondly I remember you. This is good SC. Centris is very good. That big assed red spot thing was giving me a headache anyway. Just wonderin. In RP terms, is a new station for ORION in Centris being constructed as a replacement (And the old station being signed over to EarthCom then renamed) or is this to be percieved *As it always was*? I guess that is kinda relevant for a lot of the new stations and locations. Just somthing my brain likes to thunk up. ------------------ F.C KARL 'BLADES' SAVAGE ORION FLEET TSUNAMI BATTLE GROUP GCV - TSUNAMI Ôäó www.orion-hq.fsnet.co.uk 'For Queen and country' [This message has been edited by Blades (edited 03-20-2000).]
  23. Right, I got two images to upload to the Orion site main page. One with Station 7, one with Station 4. Both look cool incidently. Just waiting for the go ahead from the SC to see which one goes up.
  24. Been thinking real hard about this, but after discussions with my exec I've decided to request permission to have Station Model 7 used as the new Orion Headquaters. Station model 8 is incredible, but in all fairness, Tac did stick his hand in the air first so I think it's fair he gets it. Besides, model 7 looks like a serious beast, vast and menacing. Fit for the meat monsters here in Orion. As a secondary preference, I'd like to go with Station model 4. Thanks for giving us this chance to contribute again chief, I've never been happier to call myself a true fan. ------------------ F.C KARL 'BLADES' SAVAGE ORION FLEET TSUNAMI BATTLE GROUP GCV - TSUNAMI Ôäó www.orion-hq.fsnet.co.uk 'For Queen and country'

Ah, interviews eh? Well, I'm always happy to spout my own brand of propoganda. Anyway, when these interviews start, is it going to be handled *In Character* or as a serious, RL interview? Either way I'm happy to oblige.
