APN/Exocet shows as a reactor upgrade.

I have released an RC3 patch update. This requires that you had previously installed the RC2 update. This patch is not available for download yet. To grab it, you have to login to your profile and there you will see the download link. Aren't you glad you registered your copy of the game?

The missiles have a turn rate that is several times faster than any craft in the game. They also have a proximity detonator which self-destructs the missile. It doesn't have to actually hit the target to cause damage. quote: Also I previously stated that the guns have no effect. They do take down shields, but do not damage the ship.Right. heh

CTD when exiting ships in Space
Supreme Cmdr replied to Elric_Sloan's topic in Universal Combat Series
Works just fine. I just tried it on four machines. And there are others doing it just fine. Try running in a window with /w1 and see if you get an error message. -
*sigh* Listen, I'm NOT giving out ANY tips about these scenarios. If you acually PLAY it, you will see that they CAN be destroyed. They are NOT invincible except for during the startup/setup phase.

Thats nuthin', wait'll I finish polishing the support structure collision detect. btw, once I fix this damn visible character model bug, I will activate the NPC marine's ability to use assets. They can't use them, thats why they are reluctant (as you pointed above). They're not stupid. Once I get that going, you should be able to give them orders to escort you and if you enter any unit, they will follow.

1. Thats 20,000 ft. And if you can't do it, let the A/P do it. 2. Use the TOM to give them orders 3. You told it to land in mud or on soft soil (usually close to the shoreline). It will sink.

Please fix your sig. LAST WARNING -
That was removed in UC (I need to update the manual) because the FLY TO order in the COMMAND menu does the same thing.

Remote Server Handling First there is the freeware UltraVNC. Very simple. Install the server (as a service if possible) on your server. Then use the client/viewer from a remote system (LAN, Internet etc) to access the computer and startup, shutdown, configure the server etc. This can startup either the graphical or console server and works better than Terminal Services (Win2K) or Remote Desktop Connection (winXP) You can also try Radmin if you want a commercial offering. I have recently started using this and have licensed a copy because its a lot faster than UltraVNC. Also it has a few more advanced security options. Server AutoStartup I use ServerDoc for auto starting the server in the event of a crash, hang etc. You can also try FireDaemon which also allows you to start the console server as a service under WIN2K, WIN2K Server, WINXP. This allows the server to work like any regular service on the OS. When configuring this for UC, download this config XML file (use Save As) and copy it into the FireDaemon folder. Then start up FD and load this config file. All you have to do then is change the paths to the game if they are different from the defaults. Save the config, then start the service. Comms Tools Teamspeak. This is the most popular mp comms tools Ventrilo. This is another favorite that is becoming popular Browser/Buddy Tools All Seeing Eye. BCM Gold and UC use the ASE sdk for the in-game server browser. The standalone version has more options. Particularly the ability to scan a server and see the names of your friends who are playing on a server. I use it for this purpose, even when I am connecting to a server using the +connect option - which you can also configure in ASE. A copy of ASE is on the BCM Gold CDROM, but not on the UC one. If you install it from the BCM Gold CDROM, it will auto-update on startup. Kali. Another legacy one which is fast staging a comeback. XFire. This is new on the scene and allows you to see if your buddies are online, what game they are playing and what server they are on. It has full support for UC. You can request an invite to the 3000ad friend and when approved, you will be friends with all others who are friends with this user. [ 06-19-2005, 07:10 AM: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]

CTRL+E doesn't exit the craft And if you don't want your post rights to be revoked for a week, for not adding your sysinfo to your sig before posting in the tech support forum, please do so now. *topic moved* [ 02-15-2004, 03:46 PM: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ] -

I'm going with the Megaron

Hey, I have not been able to reproduce this server crash. And the console server (my version at least), works fine. However, I noticed a graphics anomaly with the console server, in that if it is covered by another window or you minimize it, the display gets corrupted. I am looking into this one. Also if you drag the window, it will sometimes crash (due to a terrain engine buffer that it not setup at that time). This one is fixed. Apart from the above, both the graphical and console servers work fine.
