Him and his friends (and many aliases) are just pissed that after all their ludicrous libeling, lies, harrassment and what not, that I'm still around and waaaaaaaaaaaay ahead. Nothing pisses them off more than anything else. He's been banned from so many forums (for this same thing), its not even funny. [ 01-25-2002: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]

Yes, the upcoming UBB version has it built in. I don't want to use the currently available hack, so am waiting for the built-in UBB version. Should be out any day now they say. He again writes it down in one of his posts. He got it back when you had it in your forum profile. He also posted it on the Usenet telling his friends to use it when registering to post on this site. Of course, I can catch duplicates. At any rate, I have already invalidated that serial number and will send you a new one when mp goes live. Nova, you might want to edit your post on that thread - because you imply that Shirley owns the game because he posts a serial number - HE DOES NOT OWN THE GAME. And NEVER has. Period.

LMAO!!! I knew it! I knew it! Epsilon5, wait'll you see who Shirley is impersonating now! Hit the review link and go to the comments section. In fact, his profile which shows his last post date/time (he's in Australia) is a dead giveaway. Hopefully Will Kelly will see it soon (I've sent him email) and take the appropriate action. You can see it here They have a comments section. The first person to guess how many posts before Shirley aka Fabio aka Herbert aka Jackass, shows up, gets a night out with.....uhm, ok, the chic next door.

If you can reproduce it, please post about it in the Misc Issues section of the tech forum and I will investigate.

Strategy to destroy enemy ships easier

LMAO!! @ Oban Anyway, that whole business of going to SNG and picking any asset you like, is definitely NOT in mp. In fact, once you login and choose a race/caste/career and launch platform (I might change this so that the server forces you to one that is based on your chosen race/caste/career), you are then taken to the launch base. Thats where you will see the available assets. They don't come from thin air and they are configured using the server side script. e.g. GHQ may be configured for fighters only. Or even 1 carrier (which the FC will obviously grab and run with), dashing any hopes you have of getting what you want. Since the assets are on a first come, first serve basis, there is a very good chance that you won't even have a Sunflash to use. And one of my plans is to make it so that if you get killed a certain number of times, when you are warped back to your station, you lose your asset and have to pick whatever is available (if any). You might just find yourself floating in space outside the station (as an EF marine)without an asset. BCM mp is going to be highly configurable and fine tuned across revisions. quote: Originally posted by xierxior: ok so heres what i found since last post, i took the liberty to run the game with the -d5 switch i couldnt get it to ctd even with 100 ships on the screen.. 1fps er, but since im a smart cookie i checkd the log file and found this this could be whats causeing my game to ctd but maybe it wont do it in debug mode, Error: D3DDevice object is still referenced! --- Debug log closed --- Unrelated and nothing to worry about. PLUS, the same way you go tinkering around with debug options (/d5), spend that time tinkering around and configuring your system properly. And attached your profile to your sig. There is a thread that shows you how to do it. READ IT. And that goes for you too Chris. [ 01-24-2002: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]

Epsilon, I've got news for you. Apart from the various mp changes (as opposed to sp) and the fact that going up against NPCs is not the same as human players, good luck in your Sunflash. You're gonna need it. -

quote: Originally posted by R_wilco: Really? Then how come I can't order my ATV when I step out of it? Dunno. check its pulse. Anyway, the issue is that you have this access IF and WHEN the NPCs that launched with the craft, die. You are not an NPC. In BCM I was planning on killing this feature, but never got around to it. And since it wasn't broke, didn't affect anything and nobody *****ed about it, I dropped it off my radar. [ 01-23-2002: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]
