quote: Originally posted by HiPingScoba: I have an odd problem. I am unable to view a planet/moon other than Earth in the observe mode. Whenever I select observe from the tacops i am booted out of bcm. I have a P4 1.5 with geforce2 400 64, running the 1241 drivers. I have tried the 21.83 and 23.11 drivers. Could this be due to a corrupted BCM file? Would a deinstall/reinstall help? I have the current media player/ direct x as they are current with xp. Is there a way to deinstall either of those in Windows Xp in order to reinstall them? Sounds like a corrupt install+patch And this shouldn't be in here since its not a video issue. Please re-post this in the Misc Issues thread because I'm going to delete this post in my next pass. [ 01-16-2002: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]

I've always wanted to be an independent game developer -- or EVEN BETTER -- play a simulation of an independent game developer! And here is a simulation that allows me to do just that!" LMAO!!! We've been debating that one back here for awhile. At one point I opted for "A simulation by Derek Smart" but didn't sound right; and besides, it means the same thing if you think about it. I mean, think about it, when you go see a movie or see an ad for it, you see something like "A Ridley Scott film" (or something equally dense, like that).

Please read that link I gave you again and send the proper files required. I have deleted your email and its improper attachment.

Heh, I'm usually the one who notices things like that. heh, that scene is Jason's rendition (based on my choreography of what I wanted the scene to look like and what elements to use etc) which merges all elements of the game. Right down to that raving lunatic (read: AE) you see perched on the ledge and waving a ZS10 (probably outta ammo). And yes, that is a large asteroid. In fact, I think he used the high-res New America station for that shot.

This is Israel's largest gaming site. They gave it a 72/100. You can find the review right here (you're going to need the Google Bar to translate it - or use Babel Fish)

I have two teenage daughters myself and the phone never stops ringing around here. heh, yep. I've already started laying out the rules around here. By the time she's five, I think she would know them by heart...and forget all of them once she becomes a teen.

Playmod cheat utility released

Playmod works fine for me...except anytime I run it my new 'modded' game will CTD within a relatively short period of time of being loaded. Not sure why. Idaho If you have a game that you used Playmod on and it crashes, I'd like to know which commands you used, where and when it crashed. This way I can look into it. A saved game would be nice too. -

quote: Originally posted by bob101x: Hey i have a problem with my bcm, when i click on the bcm exe. the cd rom will start reading the disc but it will not go into the game, it will stay in windows, the auto start(bcmauto.bat) will not start. i think it's is because of my tnt2 pro card? i don't have the detonator 3 driver. my computer specs are: win 98 tnt2 pro (with the latest driver) intel pentuim III 600mhz Are you kidding me? 1. Why are you clicking on bcm.exe in order to run the game? 2. Where do you even see bcmauto.bat? You posted this message to three separate threads (now deleted) and I'm not sure I understand what you're up to. Nevertheless, before you get any kind of tech support, register the game and put your system profile in your sig so that we can take a look at it. For one thing, just makes sure that you've read the FAQ several times over.

quote: Originally posted by Chris006Tech: I saved a game after playing about 12hrs...when I tried to reload later to continue..It loaded for about 10mins till I got a Hard Drive Full message. I am then returned to windows and checked on HD space and had nothing left. After I reboot the computer...All the free space returns. The game loads for about 10mins and I watch all the locations go by that I never even knew of. I have about 2.3GB of free space but it keeps filling it all up every time I use this save file. This is the second time I had this trouble with a save. I happened about a week ago and I just dismissed it and started a new game. Pleaase let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks BCM won't use up disk space when LOADING a saved game. I would be interested in seeing that saved game however - as long as it came from the current v1.0.04 version of the game and is from a brand new profile. Before sending, read this.

Considering the amount of time she spends in my office and her new found interest in video games (and the "Baby" series of tapes e.g. Baby Einstein, Baby Mozart etc), she probably will do this one day.... ...then again, I don't see how watching Johnny Bravo is going to help. *shudder* [ 01-14-2002: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]

Some people keep asking why all the pics they see of me on the site, in mags, on websites etc, seem to all look the same. Well, I haven't aged much actually (the merits of living a very simple and fulfilling life). Anyway, this weekend, in between bouts of Halo and ICO, the baby and I took some pics. I have scanned one and posted on my personal website (which Justin is re-designing for its grand debut soon). Enjoy!
