Yea, the trade list aint that important. What is is the starstations type and inflation levels. Knowing this, you should be able to make 100 million in the first 2 hours. Then it's upgrade and butt kicking time!!! A little tip for target pratice, send Resnig out on a shuttle and shoot it. Then clone him and do it again!!!

I believe your problem lies with the fact you have a SB Live sound card. from the FAQ: quote: Q. SOMETIMES THE GAME HANGS WHEN RESTORING A SAVED GAME A. There are reports that this could happen if you have an SB Live! card. Try adding the -x0 command line parameter to the BCM shortcut and see if that helps. This disables all distance attenuated sound processing and has no affect on the sounds themselves since BCM does not support A3D or EAX. See if that helps.

You have to un-bind ctrl+alt+S from the HP support Window in Windows. You can however just use the mouse to click on the CC menu from the bridgeviewer and click Systems. In there you can click Save And Exit.

I think the only suggestions I can make now are the following: 1. Start Windows in Safe-Mode and check the Device Manager for any duplicate devices. e.g. Display adapters, floppies (Sometimes Win98 makes duplicates of devices and you can only see them in Safe-Mode). If there are any duplicates, delete all occurances of each one. Then re-start Windows and let it find all the devices again. 2. Check settings for how your computer is used. When you right click on MyComputer and go to proterties, there is a tab that allows you to select Use System As A Server or Use As A Desktop Computer (or something like that, can't remember exactly). Check it's set to As Desktop. This devotes more processing power to applications running as apposed to back ground applications. 3. Reduce your desktop display mode to 16bit and set it to 800x640. 4. Then again, un-install game and re-install it using the method decribed before. See how you get on with that! I can't think of anything else at mo that would give you the probs your having. I had the same problems with the slowdown myself but after updating my system (and before playing the game, reduce my desktop settings) the game runs fine, NO slow down at all! Woke up this morning, a bit of a headache, got myself ready to go up to London to meet my cousin about some business. Went outside to get in me car when I noticed, it wasn’t there! Then I remembered, I was out last night! Now, where did I leave the car? Then I remembered, I left outside one of the not so friendly pubs, in the not so friendly part of Basingstoke! Right, here we go! Went off to see what was left of my car. Turned out, not much. Just the back window wiper gone buts that was it. Cool, I thought. Got in started it up and drove off a bit. Then everything goes strange. I didn’t know what it was at first but after noticing that I was slowing down I looked at me petrol gauge, EMPTY! They obviously siphoned out me tank. So, had to walk to petrol station, buy and fill up a petrol can, then walk back to me car. Trying to fill up your tank with a petrol can stuck in the middle of the road is no easy task! My other car that actually DOESN'T go, is left outside me house and has been for ages. Why can’t they wreck that one (they’ll be doing me a favour!). No instead they decide to do my other car which was left outside for the first time in its life! Next time, I’ll walk to the pub!

During the game, when you want to save a position, instead of using the quick save, use the Save and exit option. This will give you a menu of save slots which you select, give the save a name, and then takes you back to the main menu. From here, just click resume. When you want to restore a saved game position, from the main menu click restore, click the game you want to restore from and then the save position.

Viper2000, if you don't want to reformat your hard drive (which is understandable), if you can get hold of another hard drive just put that in and install a fresh win98 on that. Update all drivers and that, then load the game and see how it performs. If that works, then you know you need to reformat. The reason for reformatting is because Win98 gets currupted easily. When I had Win98, I can't remember how many times I formatted! (thats why I use Win2000) Note: Try the above post link first for the shut down prob! Format and install (only takes 20mins). But, before you do. Is your game running OK. Is it just the fact that your computer hangs on shutdown?
