I say immoral as it is to the catholic church. I myself am not catholic but still belive in standards. People who have a child at a bad time should have worn protection to prevent pregnacy and school kids should buy their own F***ing contraceptives, why should I pay for them! More to the point, the money could be better spent elsewhere. Our NHS for example! My mother who had breast cancer spent 6 hours waiting in the hospital only to be told that they could not see her on that day. The waiting times have gone up. The government don't give me anything so I don't give them anything. The Tax people did get in contact with me about me tax payments which I sorted by giving company names who are in liquidation at mo. Admittaly I do not always work like this and there are times where I do work and pay tax but when I can I avoid it.

I feel things are getting bad. Not just there in America but over here in England to. I can't speak for other countries but I feel that the system is not working and is beginning to be unable to cope with our countries demands and needs. We now seem to have a problem with English pensions and it has been said that we may need to retire at the age of 65 and then after this work on a part time basis until the age of 70. This will be a problem to those who will be unable to work at this age! To me it doesn't seem like this democracy system we have is really working the way it should. Our government leaders gave themselves a pay increase some time ago but when the firefighters demanded an increase, the people who stick their lives on the line every time they go to work and who only get paid £21k P/A, nothing happens! Our tax money seems to go towards paying for alot of unecessary and even inmoral causes (abortion, contraceptives to school children). We even don't have a half decent grant system anymore for college students. It pays for materials but only a certain amount thats probably not even worth bothering with. The above reasons and many more are why I no longer pay any tax to our country. I get paid in cash so I'm gonna keep every penny of it and pay only the causes I feel necessary. I have my own pension account, I pay rent in cash, I suppose I only pay VAT when buying from stores but avoid them where possible (buy from other sources). I say F*** the government!

If only it was true. It would have beaten the one we had once. Someone who claimed to be a professional system builder bought parts from our shop. We did ask if he would like us to assemble it for him but he insisted that he knew what he was doing. Because he brought a high powered system we also sold him some extra fans. Anyway a couple of days past and we get a phone call from him. He said that the parts he brought from us didn't work and he said he wanted a refund so we asked him to come in with the system so we could check it. He brings it in and we inspect it. Before switching it on we thought we'll have a look at how he built it. Well, to start with he put the ide cables on the Hdd and CD ROMS the wrong way round. Don't ask me how he done it but he must have noticed something was wrong when he must have had to use a hammer to push them in. Not only that, he put the CPU fan on the north bridge chip and NOT the CPU but the best was where he placed the extra fan we gave him. He taped it to the bottom of the case! We then also realized why the computer woundn't work. He screwed the motherboard directly to the back plate without using the seperaters! He must have shorted the whole thing! Holding back the laughter we went out to tell him what he done to which his answer was, thats how he always built computers and where he put the fan was recomemded to him by a friend. We asked if the other computers he had built still worked. He said they did but that they don't work now which was why he was buying a new one.(we never bothered asking how the others worked!) After a while we confinced him that what he done was wrong. He then asked if he could have a refund. We said NO, but he continued to aurgue that all parts come with 12 months warrenty. We said, all parts come with 12 months warrenty when they either don't work from unwapping or they they go faulty when properly installed within that time. We said that we didn't think the manufactuers would except refunding due the fact that the motherboard was screwed directly to the back plate, the CPU fan not even attached to the CPU and that the ide cables where forced in the wrong way round on the HDD and CD ROM which in turn had damaged the back of these drives! He wouldn't except this so to explain it better to him my friend picked up a cup and said imagine this is a computer that I just bought. He dropped it and it broke. He said, There I broke it, can't get a refund on it! He still wouldn't except this and left saying he was calling his solicitor. We said fine. Few days later he came in to take back the computer that was still in our workshop and left saying nothing. That was the last we heard from him. [ 12-06-2002, 02:09 PM: Message edited by: LBM ]

You also need to make sure you have Media player 7.1. Which order are you patching. Should be 1.0.07 then 1.0.08RC23 then RC24 and then RC28. If this is the order your using then maybe try downloading the 1.0.07 file again and see if that helps.

LOL, yeah I had Physicist playing The Complex on once with BCM. Man that rocks. Also Slayer and Angel Of Death was a laugh.

I tried it but couldn't figure it out at time. When you click on your AE just gives you the zoom back and add to priority list options. Will try again incase I missed something. I don't need to buy a new keyboard, I have 100's stashed in me cupboard. Will try that though, but the key only dosn't work in the game, it works in Windows. Nevermind my problem.

Just wondering. Now that you have taken the command options from the AE when on planets, how do we mark the AE for evac via transporter? BTW, nice one for fixing the marines not engaging prob. Had a great time clearing an insurgent base but it was afterwards that I noticed the above prob. Couldn't be arsed to wait for a shuttle. Oh, one last thing. I don't think it's anything to do with the game (definatly not patch related) but for some reason my BACKSPACE button don't toggle walk/run anymore. The button on the keyboard itself works just not in game. It's been working forever until now, just wondering if you had any ideas on what's causing this?
