It can be done over the internet if you're willing to give me a $200.00 deposit for the phone. My Terminal Server runs all the software you need and I use a Packet8 Virtual Office phone that gives you a "Local" number to the Businesses that you would be calling. But, since I don't know that you're actually "working" when you're not in the office, then it would have to be Commission only. Average commission is 25%. I have one girl now working from home for me and she makes about $500.00 a week, commission only. Only problem with her is that when I check her Login times on the Termial Server, she's only logging about 20 hrs a week or less, that's why she's making so little. Also you MUST have a DSL or Cable connection and a QOS router like the Linksys RT042 that gives priority to your Voice Packets

Are the college grads going to fill those Trash positions? I'm offering 10 bucks an hour to work the phones, PLUS commissions and I'm lucky if I get 1 person every 2 months to take the offer.

The only thing I'm going to say about this is that there's a lot of things that we've had to increase spending on that falls under "Discretionary Spending" Things like the extra Billions being spent on Airport Security. Things like Extra Police officers and overtime. Things like Relief for all the hurricanes, earthquakes, fires, flooding and other natural disasters. All of these things fall under "Discretionary Spending". They don't fall under National Defense. National Defense is what goes directly to the Army, Navy, Airforce, Marines, CIA & FBI. They don't include things like extra cops to help out NY from Terror attacks. So go ahead and complain, I think he's done a great job keeping the economy going strong despite the war, dispite the Terror attacks, dispite the disdain that we get from the international community. Here's another First Impression. The Water is DEEP!!! I was tractoring a Tank to an enemy base with the shuttle, when I tried to make some maneuvers to get away from an incoming missile. At any rate Ended up in the water. Switched to Tacops, saw that the Tank was under water, and figured let me see if I can just get it and drive it the rest of the way. Went Down Down, Down Down Hmm 2200 Ft Under water, let me check Tacops... STILL only half way there!!! When you say this thing is scaled to size, it's REALLY scaled to size! Hopefully next edition, Usable Subs, and Underwater Bases!

Well, I've never really played the FPS part of the game too much, so it's new to me. At any rate, if that's the way it's supposed to work, that's OK, I'll adjust, it just seems to me that the way that it's explained in the manual seems a bit different then how it works.

On Page 87 of the UC Gold Manual, it states, "When using the TOM, normal C&C Rules as to who can be issued orders", so I should be able to issue orders to a group of Marines that I had beamed down to the planet with me. Instead, I ended up having to switch to Tacops and individually tell each Marine to "escort" me, and only then was I able to issue orders to them via the TOM Menu.

I noticed when I was playing last night that there was an ejected Pod, Not a Cargo Pod, it looked like part of a fighter, but I couldn't tractor it with my shuttle. What can we do with these? Also, I can see what you mean about dragging down the system when 2 cities start duking it out. I landed my FireStorm just west of a city that had an insurgent base west of it, and I guess I touched off the Insurgents Radar, and they started firing at me. That caused the Galcom city that I was near, to launch fighters and start lobbing Missiles at them, man o man that was spectacular, but It REALLY taxed my poor 2Ghz system. In a couple of weeks, I'm getting a replacement MB for my system with an AMD64 3700+, and I'll probably get another gig of RAM, so hopefully that rig will be able to handle this scenario smoothly.

By the way, any way you would be willing to port over those StarGateish DJP's from UC-AWA to UC Gold, they really look cool.

I'm curious, I was playing in Roam mode as a Marine, started off on the planet with several squad mates assigned to me. I noticed how I can tab through them and issue orders, pretty cool, love that. Problem is, if I take command of a shuttle, vehicle or Gun ship, anything I've tried actually, I end up losing control of my squad mates. Basically tells me that I can't issue orders to them (they go from Bright Green to Dull Green). Is this how it's supposed to work or is this a glitch. Tested it out on UCAWA and it works the same way there.

I'll probably get one, though I'll DEFINITELY get one if Knightblade comes out.

The main reason for getting UCG Gold, is if you don't have the hardware to run UCAWA right?

I remember when DVD players first came out, they were saying that one of the features would be that they would put different rated versions of the same movie on one disc. (G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17) and that the Vchip setting on the TV would enforce the rating. Instead they filled the extra space with Previews, Making of the movie crap that no one ever sees, Computer extras, Videos, whatever. Your typical HD movie only takes up 4 to 6 Gigs of space, leaving 1.5 to 3.5 Gigs of space for everything else. If they can't find usefull ways of using only 7.5 Gigs of space, what the hell will they do with 30 to 50 Gigs? Put a trilogy on one DVD, BIG DEAL.
