Egads, how many of these remakes do they expect us to play.

What I am trying to convey is that just as much as the evidentiary phase is defined by our laws so too is the sentencing phase and should not be based in any way or form on someone elses religious ideology. Here have a read of this CBS New: Bibles, Jurors Don't Mix May 26, 2003

I find this rather hilarious that they consulted the bible because if they are true god fearing and bible following citizens they should have quit being a juror: "Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven" They should have checked their religious beliefs at the door and base their decisions soley on our current law system. I hope the Prosecutors are successful in this case.

Egads, just spoke with my nephew (he lives in pittsburgh now) and he just saw the movie. He said he enjoyed the movie and Depp was hilarious but he did say that a lot of it was kind of SA.

Yup, that's pretty much what I've been hearing. The TV commercial trailer should have been a clue. It just didn't sit well with me. It looked more stupid than good. Pity that Depp and his young costar are doing this on the heels of their other movie "Finding Neverland" which I really really liked. The original version of this movie is simply brillant. I think one generation after another would agree.
