  1. LOL! UP THE IRONS!
  2. As I already said on PF forums, you're in my thoughts along with you dears. Nothing I can say to ease your pain, but you'll always be finding help here if you'll need it.
  3. Sorry for that KAL. There is little I can say about it...life can be so unfair at times...
  4. Amazing shots BOSS! The gun of the chopter like support craft is really aiming at the target!
  5. Yeah Kal, nice going with those models.
  6. Yeah, I posted in there a while back reporting a coupple of small issues and my topic was flooded with whining.....and just a couple of advices. I just quitted the board and only replied to those constructive.
  7. Very true. I think that the idea to start on a dirt bike is meant for youg people; it is the way I learnt to ride when I was 14 and it will get you used to keep the feeling of your bike even when it's not glued to the ground. It will happen that you'll loose some grip and you'll be near to drop off but if you're not freezing from fear pulling your brakes senslessly, there will be a good chance that you'll be able to regain control. To do this you have to be acquainted with the behaviour of a bike in a poor grip enviroment as your reactions should be reflexes...not thinking. This is the only reason I see for stating with a dirt bike; it is more easy to drive, will allow you more errors and will teach you how to stay cool even if the wheels are going around as they please. If you're not a youngster and don't want to put money in that it is fine, just keep your head cool and don't do anything you're not sure of. I personally switched to a sport bike 125cc 2strokes at 17, and then to enduro 650cc mono-cylinder to the actual 1.000cc tourer. Now I'm happy with it and I can ride almost anything without fearing for my life.
  8. Well, you have to take into account that there are very different responses from the kind of bike you mentioned; suspension, wheight balance and ride position. In the end you will have to get acquainted to that but it's not like starting from the bottom again; that's for sure.
  9. On the RPG side is not as deep as Morrowind, that is for sure. Overall I like it. Don't ask me why.
  10. You picked a difficult bike for a newbie. Yamahas are not so user friendly to drive. Hondas are more easy and you should see the Suzuki too, they're the best sport ones from Japan IMHO.
  11. Ditto! Gongratz all newbecome parents.
  12. Technical wear is a must if you want to stay relatively safe. I have Dainese stuffs, turistic gloves by Alpinestar and Nolan N100 helmet. Never be cheap on those things.
  13. I have a bike. I'm not one of the hardcore riders but still I enjoy it much and it is my main transport mean from spring to autumn. I cannot disagree with Wolferz, unfortunately, but I can say that if you keep you eyes peeled you'll pretty much avoid most of the problems. Frankly, I feel safer on my bike than on my car; dunno exaclty why but it is. However, Aprilia (italian bike) ETV1000 Caponord . It is a tourer with a 98hp, 1,000cm3 engine. The one in the link is the new model that is only very slightly different from mine.
  14. I would gratefully pay a bit for a horse combat add-on that will incude the armor. I hate to dismount every time I have to fight. This is the most unrealistic aspect of the game.
  15. I lauch the game off-line without problems so that might be the cause. Your protection might want to update the hardware profile and see what's changed.
  16. That's true indeed; if don't have a very high end system it will hit your performance to have the character visible...
  17. Well, if you've played the Gothic series before.....it isn't so hard.
  18. Please bear my best whishes to your wife and all your family. I'm sure you'll get through this soon and well.
  19. So you already got your present...
  20. I run the collector's edition to full details and options without problems. Only got one corruption one time after entering a building. Nothing else.
  21. Happy BD boss!! May the future brings you what you 're longing for.....plus some extras....
