I found you. You are Cmdr. Laracuente on the BCC forum. Notice the use of the period "." there instead of the lower case dash "_" you use here. Maybe that will help.

Personally I hate "elite". The acronyms floating around the net are bad enough. Heaven forbid someone take the standard acronyms and translate them to "elite". Of course that's just my POO.

Works good for me. Loads fast. I like the design.

Try going to the log-in page for system profiles and input your name and cd-key. Once you see your profile copy the URL and paste it in notepad. It will be a long string and at the end something like profile id = (some number). Find a sig test thread and post. Use the board's URL script function button to get the sig the way you want it. Paste the URL when it asks you for it then type the text you want (Sys Info or Sys Profile). When the board puts the UBB code into your post copy the entire thing and put it in notepad. Post to see if it works. If it worked go to your profile and edit your sig. Copy the entire UBB code from notepad and paste it in your sig and submit changes. It may take a bit before you see you sig update across the board but it does. Clear as mud? Derek's "Procedure" link in the archive forum seems dead but there is another thread around here detailing the procedure. But above is how I did it. May seem roundabout way of doing it but it works.

This thread went off topic bad. I do like the displayed name feature. "Adm." Weegee was able to change to the more appropriate Cmdr. WeeGee without having to register again. That's gotta be nice and a time saver for everyone.

Per the text of the post I expect: I expect to have the same type of fun that I have in BCM. The availability to go anywhere* and do anything within the constraints of the BC techs (*fuel usage etc.) and caste system (IE hostile raiders). Just more intense because it will be with the friends I have made here. Per the text of the title I would like to: I would like to get online with my friends and play about the same way as I do in SP. Take over a station, have a huge battle, etc. But with friends those huge battles would be coordinated one would hope. I also would like to get on the fleet servers with an enemy fleet (of my human friends on this board) and go at it. With the NPC's throwing a wrench in the works of course. _________________________________ That's all I want to do and that's all I expect. To be able to play this game as it is except some of those ships on my Bridgeviewer are my friends.
