I was wondering if anyone has done any investigation, as to what the solar reactor(settings 1-10) had, in conjunction with,the recharge time, for engine charging, FC charging, and shield charging...just thought about it, but havent had time to experiment with it(I am at work at the moment).

I had just captured a space station. a little enemy fighter was bouncing around inside? or between the poles. I selected a missle and fired at it. needless to say, my newly obtained space station blew up ...and being that I was sitting right on top of it with my shields down...i sustained quite a bit of damage. so much in fact, and it happened so fast..all I could do was sit there with a dumb look on my face, while that little fighter(you know, the one I tried to missile)finished me off.

the marines handle boarding partys better, the CO shuts down launch automatically, so I loose less ships to escapees(just some examples) the flight engineers auto recharge my fighters and do it faster. my shuttles spend less time wondering around, when they pick up equipment. RO completes research projects. They all obey orders much better.(EVEN RESNIG..lol) etc. etc.

8 days into the game ... (3/12/3010) all my Officers were at 100%,and most of the crew between 65% and 95%.
