glad to be back and thanks for the warm welcome. I'm reading through everything, and everything looks awesome. I feel really old with my member number as 56, lol.

Most of you might not know me, but I was one of the first guys in ISS. I've been playing Star Wars Galaxies, World of Warcraft and EVE online. I wanted to come back to the game that got me all started and see what was going on. I had a lot of fun in this game. Hope to get to know you guys, and for those that remember me, gonna be fun getting reacquainted!!

Seeing how I can get the pic on my sig. I wasn't sure which Flight group I was in so I used the Unicorn one since Jamont is in that I thought maybe that was the command group. Let me know if that is wrong and which group I am assigned to. [ 11-19-2001: Message edited by: Cmdr Ristar ]

What are the various pic files on your sig, mean? I've tried to find that on the forum somewhere. Are they just there for looks or do they mean something??

Wow I got my own thread, I'm digging this. I'll be happy anywhere you put me. CIOPS would be fine. All the crap I took trying to bring SCID into ISS and then we created CIOPS as a counterpart to SCID. I don't know if you guys remember all that ordeal. I think DeSylva was still gone. Anyway let me know where you want. I'm still reading through all the posts on the forum. I really like the way things have changed.

Well I guess you are surprised to hear from me. I am trying to get caught up and I am not sure exactly what my position is anymore. Can I still keep my fleet commander rank and if you need a second in command or CIOPS leader I guess I can do that. Anyway I'll await the new command structures decision. Man things have changed but its' nice to be back.

I would like to appologize for my delay in getting online. I have been in Europe alot on buisness, so I am glad that DeSylva is back to take care of things in my absence. I hope that I can get back into the swing of things now that I am finished with some commitments.

I am sorry for my absence also. I have been very busy with my work and going on business trips. I hope that you all can understand. I have been very busy helping my father who has had a stroke and is partially paralyzed so he needs caring for and my mother can't always help. I try to check in when I get a chance. I know that many of the leaders of ISS Fleet are busy. It doesn't mean that we aren't concerned with ISS or BC3K in any way. I know some of the leaders of wings are only in high school and have school, some are in business, and some were just out on vacation. So in the next few weeks, things should pick up some. If anyone in the ISS Fleet wants to do recruiting, or anything having to do with the fleet, go ahead, you don't have to be a leader of the fleet to do that. If you have ideas, post them here on the site and email me. Sometimes I don't have a chance to get online and check the forum, so email them to me and I can get back to you quickly. If someone has time to get online and sees that there are new members that need to be added, email me to let me know. I know I should do this myself, but like I said, I go out of town sometimes, and I don't get a chance. I like the idea, but the Wing leaders don't need to send it to me to post it. They can post it here on the Bulletin Board Topic if they have ideas. I would run it by Cmdr Bader as to the assigning of NPC's. I trust his judgement. And for the second point, the units that have been assigned to each wing are there for that unit to use to carry out it's specific mission type. CIOPS has the SURGE unit. I will send out information about SURGE through the ISS email system. The part that each wing will have in a mission will be determined during the mission planning stages. Sometimes the units under the command of one wing, might be commanded by another wing since it might need tactical support for it's part of the mission or recon or whatever, but that unit still belongs to it's parent unit, but is just "loaning" it out to another wing temporarily. ------------------ Fleet Cmdr. Intel will have to share command of the SURGE units with CIOPS. I will get the information to both of the Wing leaders of Intel and CIOPS when I can get the original information from Tringad.
