You know to be honest, I never really concerned myself with the individual statistics except when it concerned a special function.(Artifacts, auto-controls etc). I just gave my people their orders, and waited for them to do it to the best of their abilities. However this thread has brought up some old thoughts to my head and since you seem to be doing some serious testing, maybe you had some simalar/dissimalar observations. When your doing your pilot training, how much of it is planet based? If/when you do it on planets, what is the average performance of your pilots STA/ATA missle attacks? (Likewise, the enemy performance on them )

Doing a run to Majora and back is better. Majora has a pretty high inflation and is much shorter run. Which means you can do them faster and with less chance of getting jumped by pirates and what have you. Also, while trellis and some other items reap larger profits individually, they are also very bulky and you cannot store many of them. You'll get more money, selling Armor repair units, and then SDM weapons. They have a high return and take up less space. Also to save time, make sure that your autopilot is set for the starbase supply station, no tthe station itself. When you target the supply base, the AP will bring you out of hyperspace, only about 5-20 km from the station. Your practicaly in docking range already!

*shrug* It was just something that seemed iffy. At least in the free release of BCM, I could slowly creep over an enemy base, with no jamming and most of the time be unmolested by missles. After assualting bases, I found that it was simply easier (and not to mention a lot cheaper ) to destroy a base and it's defense forces, by piloting a fighter myself w guns only. Granted its not as much fun, quick or xp yielding as doing a full fledged assualt, but it's more cost effective in terms of ordinace, repairs and personnel. More than likely, a vast portion of what I observed is not true in the new incarnations, and I look forward to trying the heck of UCAWA...if it ever gets delivered to my house, before the end of the century

The demo just came out a day or so ago. It's sweet Bloody, gripping carnage with a dash ofThe Running Man BOS and FEAR are easily the best shooters of the year.

It's alot of fun, but it's hard as hell. even on the easy setting o.o There are just so many bugs everywheres. Would you like to know more?
