I'm slowly cobbling together a guide/faq of tips/tricks to assaulting ground bases and starstations. However I want to make sure, the various nifty things I have found are not just due to weak targets. So I am looking to you all, to find out what people consider the toughest, most impenatrable areas and let me crack'em wide open....hopefully.

I think unless you are really serious in wanting to develop a relationship, you would be better off either not metting her and/or letting it simmer as a friends w benefits sort of thing. I think it would be a bad idea to aim for more then that, if you were not willing to be physically nearby her. Long distance relationships are just asking to get your heart stomped.(Meh sigh, if I followed my own advice. I would have gotten bit twice like that ) Now assuming you do want tokeep moving forward with her. Just do what you have been doing before, don't try to play it up. Whatever you have been saying or doing has worked so far, so keep it going. Best of luck.

(This very much a work in progress. This post only actually contains the opening 2 pages but Im so excited and I really want to see what peoples inital impressions are that I can't wait any longer Hope you enjoy, but please post your thoughts, bad or good) quote: ÔÇ£Take my love. ÔÇ£ Supreme Commander Karl Reines continued glad-handing the Hadden liaison for a few moments more, but mentally turning over recent events. The whole thing stank that much was obvious, but he could not put his finger on what was so wrong. His alarm chirruped, it was time for his shift. Absently he passed through corridors and by crew, lost a flood of data and after-action reports. ÔÇ£Admiralty on the Deck!ÔÇØ called the Watch Officer, snapping a taunt salute. I'm writing a short story and I am coming to point where the leader of Galcom shall appear. Naturally, I could come up with anything I wanted for the tale. But I want to stay accurate to lore. So, a few questions. 1. In the appendices, it is stated that Karl Reines is the SC of Galcom. Am I correct in assuming that this is your AE? If so: 2.What ship do you use, when you have time to play 3. What is the name of the ship? Thank you

Specific details are hard to come by, however itÔÇÖs believed that the agreement includes a script being penned by the games creator Jordan Mechner. Whilst videogame fanatics will likely scoff at the thought of yet another disastrous movie adaptation, it should be noted that both ÔÇÿSoul CaliburÔÇÖ and ÔÇÿPrince of PersiaÔÇÖ have been acquired by more reputable movie companies then the typical indie firms associated with the likes of ÔÇÿThe House of the DeadÔÇÖ; particularly with Bruckheimer behind the wheel, we can expect an action extravaganza to rival the Hollywood blockbusters.

Not really new. Anarchy Online has been doing it for a while, but it fits into the whole cyber-punk theme. -

I think Season 3 was the best of Enterprise. The main problem I with Trek is that there has not been a series since TNG that has been able to sucessfully pull off random episodes. What made S3 so good was the overarching plot of the Xindi and it made it much more tense and dramatic. Whereas other seaons only had the "we are explorers and look at what we stumble into" and it just hasn't worked well for any of the Treks except for TNG. The shows don't seem to come together unless there is some additional plot or arc. Dominion War, Xindi war, BOrg alliance etc.

quote: Did Microsoft Wipe Apple Off the Map? 07.25.2005, 05:37 PM As software rivals, Microsoft wants to wipe Apple Computer off the map. With Microsoft's new Web service for satellite photographs, did the world's largest software company find a way to do exactly that? Internet sleuths discovered that anyone using Microsoft's new "Virtual Earth" Web site for a bird's-eye view of Apple's corporate headquarters saw only a grainy overhead photograph of what appears to be a single, nondescript warehouse and a deserted parking lot - not Apple's sprawling campus, with 11 modern buildings surrounding a plush courtyard. Microsoft blames an outdated photograph. But Apple's headquarters in Silicon Valley shows up more appropriately for anyone viewing the same location using Google's mapping Web site, which also combines many of the same government-funded satellite and aerial overhead photographs. Is Microsoft's version of the landscape a fantasy for Bill Gates? Microsoft said its new mapping service, made available free during the weekend, was still in its testing phase and includes some older, black-and-white photographs from October 1991 for the neighborhood around Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, Calif. The only dates displayed on the images are copyright notices from 2004 and 2005. "This is about mapping for consumers," spokesman Adam Sohn said. "We pull the right addresses, it just seems the images are perhaps older." Sohn said Microsoft is buying newer photographs for parts of the country, and many areas already include the most recent images available. Google's mapping site includes color aerial photographs from October 2002 with more detail for Apple's neighborhood, provided by the U.S. Geological Survey. One satellite expert said companies should provide more details, such as the date for each photograph, to help Internet users make sense of these images. "It's a problem, one of the real challenges. There's a reason why most pictures in magazines and newspapers have captions," said John Pike, director of GlobalSecurity.org. "What's missing from this imagery is, there are no captions to tell you when the image was acquired or what you're seeing or why you should care." Hah

A while ago I made a small right up of tips and observations in the Freeware release of BCM. And As I am going to finally have a computer beefy enough to support UC(G and AWA. ), I am wondering if any of my observations apply to UC? Tips and Observations Thanks in advance.

quote:She entered with a knowing smile teasing her lips, sank into the comfort of the plush chair in the corner. A handsome stranger turned, locked his steely gray eyes on hers and moved slowly toward her, his experienced gaze measuring her, hypnotizing her with his soft murmurs of assurance. He sank to his knees before her and without a word, smoothly released her from her constraining attire. With a sigh of surrender, she allowed his foreign hands to unleash her bare flesh. He expertly guided his hands through this tender, usually hidden territory, his movements deliberate, confident in his ability to satisfy her desire. Her senses swam. She was overcome with an aching desire that had gone unfulfilled for so long. And, just as it seemed that ecstasy was within her grasp, he paused, and for one heart-stopping moment, she thought, "It's too big! It will never fit!" But with a sudden rush, it slid into place as if it had been made only for her. As pleasure and contentment washed over her, she met his steady gaze and smiled. And he knew it wouldn't be long before she came back. Oh, yes, this woman would want more. She would want to do it again and again and again. Buying shoes does that to you! Haha

I wasn't talking aobut the Pvp. I meant the factioned NPC's. When I first played started teh game after leaving the starter island, I used the terminal in my apartment to get some missions for start up cash and to get a handle on the game. I almost gave up on the game entirely after dieing 5 times in a row to automated turrets and hostile factions. The only that kept me quiting right away was this really nice person who showed a shortcut(and safe one to boot ) She was really nice, even lent me some credits and showed to some of the cooler spots of the city. (like Pepper Park ) But even encountering nice folks to play with was not enough to keep me past the first 30 days. It jsut didnt thrill me enough to pay the monthly fee.(Which was twice what I payed for the game ) Personally, I believe the best Sci-fi MMORPG out is Anarchy Online. It has a great community, a solid RP community as well and most importantly is the Alien Invasion Expansion. It is just awesome, it never gets old watching those huge motherships settling in over your Organizations(guild)city and start beaming down ALiens hell bent on destroying it.

Neocron seemed like it would be a really good game, but it seemed so unfinished the last time I played. The starting 'training' island had absolutely nothing to teach you and most of the area was way to strong for a newbie. Which is odd seeing how none but newbies could enter it. Quest giving and/or important NPC's with incomplete or non-existant text. The 'helpful' guide paths would have you plow through the middle of KOS areas. It would be excusable, since it is giving you the most direct route. Howsomever it's jsut silly, when it drags newbies who barely have an idea of the layout through KOS areas. : Even Everquest in the old old days, didn't mistreat starting players so badly.
