not really, though if there is a ship out there you can HJ to it. Another option I've not tried is moving at top speed and launching a mine and then seeing if you can target and HJ to it.

yeah IIRC Russian film makers were early inovators in the 1920-30's with stuff like juxtapositioning and other out of camera editing. Of course the motivation back then was more to convert the commoner to a revolutionary than to entertain, but alot can be learned from the Rissians.

As was already stated I think you know our stance on the matter, Derek. I would rather wait a month for you to release a polished product than have one that isn't up to your standards.

I'm fairly certain that both of those games used bitmap overlays for the various views similar to Xwing and TIE fighter. for true 3d cockpits the only ones I cna think of other than X2 is X:BTF, Xwing alliance, and Starlancer. I'm sure there are others but those are all I can think of off hand.

I've played through it and all I can say is great game. One of the best I've played in awhile. HK47 is probably the best character in terms of humor

GBSII for BCM/BCMG was only released to the testers. There are enough similarities that learning GBSI can be useful. I would also assume that GBSIII will be based at tleast in part off of GBSII so learning GBSI can still help.

I'd take a look in the FAQ and if that doesn't solve it try uninstalling, deleting the dir, and reinstalling. also if possible try to change your topic to something more infomative of the thread contents. Finally just because you never see the ships doesn't mean they aren't there. You are not the only one with a cloaking device.

adding a new ship is much more involving than simply adding the class to the assets and IIRC cannot be done w/o GBS.

try running the commander career training mission. That should allow you to learn the menu's w/o getting attacked.

starlancer is the precurser to free lancer. kinda helps set the back story a little bit. It's pretty cheap (1.99) right now and it's not a bad game for that price.

Very nice movie, It looks like space combat is a little slower paced than in BCMG which, if it is, I think is a good thing.

Rattler drops by every now and again but I think he's off in a big sandbox for Uncle Sam. BTW welcome back

Of course do be sure to thoroughly check out the fleets before you apply. Make sure you know what you are getting into and can live with the factions beliefs.
