I've gone from posting, to simply watching, to posting, and back again about 20 times in the past year or so. I just would like to let everyone who is still around know what my plans are. I am going out to buy a new computer (hopefully later today actually). After it arrives at my home I need to go out and buy a few things for it (router, speaker wall mounts, new joystick, exc, exc). After all that is done I'm planning on buying BCM Gold. I'm still lurking about. Welcome back Tyrn, glad to see you return. I am under the impressions Tac is gone and he is not returning. Just my thoughts. I've been quietly lurking about the forums not really posting much, mostly reading. Just letting you know I'm still around though.

SC says we will worry about that when multiplayer starts. Good enough for me. For now I guess it's going to be we three for awhile.

Well, as far as I can see, and from who has reported they are still around IC'ly...I am the highest ranking Wraith Fleet person around at the moment. I forget who was Tac's second in command honestly. I don't know if there is some kind of procedure for taking control of the fleet or not, I'll have to get into contact with the SC I guess.

Reinstall windows. Funny. I wasn't blaming anyone actually. Furthermore, the oddness continues. After making no further changes I, on a whim, tried to fire it up ONE MORE TIME. And well, it worked. I'm throughly baffled. I installed DX9 and VIA, restarted, it freezes. I make no changes, restart again just because I was mad...I walked away. Came back 20 minutes later and try again, and it works. :shrugs: Whatever.

Ok, BCM was working just fine. No problems at all. I installed DirectX9 and updated my VIA drivers and now it won't work anymore. Basically, I'll hit RESTORE and choose the game to restore and it will load up all the systems...and then it will say "Game Loaded Ok" and then...nothing...it just stops there. Suggestions? Edit: Upon further investigation I managed to get a bit further. I can actually get into the game but it freezes after about 2 seconds or so. This is very familiar to the issues I was having before so I went to my bios and made sure my AGP Aperture was at 64 MB and that my AGP was a 2X and they still were. I'm stumped. I sent him a private message a week and a half ago and still haven't gotten a reply. Scary. Anyway, I'm going to fire a roll call up and see what we have.

My buddy just took his test on Thursday and get a 987 out of 1000. It was the highest score the school he went to had ever seen. Obviously he is CCNA certified now.

So lately I've been flying around as a Gammulan in a stormcarrier getting used to fighter operations and not being able to charge head first into battles with my CC. So, I was patrolling in Mantisi and the surronding systems when suddenly a Gammulan raider in a Battlecruiser MK2 entered the region. I sent the two fighters I had defending my stormcarrier after it. Just as they began to open fire on it it launched it's own fighters...four of them...which suddenly turned the tide against me because my fighters were outnumbered. I quickly went to my tactical computer and ordered my remaining pilots too two medium fighters (Corsairs) because the other two S-Fighters were being worked on at that point. Meanwhile, my two S-Fighters were in a desperate 4 on 2 battle and they were completly defensive. Finally my pilots got to the Corsairs and I launched and ordered them to engage the enemy Interceptor MK2s. They arrived on scene and quickly dispatched two of the Interceptors. By this point, the Battlecruiser had hyperdrived to a different nav point and the remaining two interceptors followed it. So I ordered my fighters to follow and finish off the interceptors. They once again engaged in a fierce melee and they destroyed yet another of the BCs interceptors. Suddenly and without warning the Battlecruiser turned it's sights on my stormcarrier and hyperdrived to me. Immediately, and without my direct orders, my two S-Fighters which were engaging the final enemy interceptor broke pursuit and hyperdrived to my aid. At that point I ordered my Corsairs on the BC as well. After a heated battle my fighters destroyed the Battlecruiser MK2 and the remaining interceptor fled. All in all, I was damn proud of my crew. Does anyone else have any times when they can remember in which their crew actually made them proud?

Dread, I remember you first getting into Wraith a long time ago. Glad someone else it still around I recognize. I don't see anyone else posting so I'm starting to wonder who is still actually left and reading the forums.

First of all, your way into Tolkien. Can you actually speak Elvish? I have a friend who can...scary. To stay on topic, I used the ship name GCV-Defiant for my CC. The only other name I'd ever use, when I was playing a different race/caste/career is Orcus Aquinus. It means "Bringer of Death" in Latin.

I loved it. 10/10 It was that damn good.

I am playing a game as a commerical trader and I first noticed my crew getting hungry very quickly. I shrugged it off until their hunger factors got to around 50 at which point I put them off duty so that they could go eat. They didn't go eat. Instead they went back on duty. I shrugged it off and figured they go eat when they felt like it. Ok, so now, at this point, every member of my crew has a hunger factor somewhere above 150. So...whats the deal here?

Recently I formatted my HDD and brought my computer back from scratch and updated the drivers one by one and such and got BCM to work right. So now that I'm back, I just wanted to say hello.
