3D Marine and crew detail looks fantastic. Resnig looks like a very intelligent officer!! Just goes to show, looks truly can be decieving!! I like the little detail on photo #8 of the number of people being deployed announced. Really looking forward to the games release.

Been using Firfox for about 9 months. I love it!!! It has Internet Explorer beat by a mile. Unfortunately, I still need to use Internet Explorer for some web sites that have apps that do not run with Firefox. Thanks for your list of extensions SC. Your time invested doing these things is well worth it!! When you reach fleet commander, try giving orders to assets of the same type. Ex. Ter/Mil and you are Ter/Mil also.

Also haven't had any problems with SP2. Installed it a couple of day's ago.

In that situation, just resume last. That will load the last game that you played. The day can still be saved!!

I'm assuming that you ordered SC-1 to Halt. Also, when you were in SC-1, you should have been able to d/c the AutoPilot. That would give you manual control. All of this is in the manual.

I think it sounds cool. Ships would be in the same world(space) as you would be, but out of radar range. So this would still have seek and kill elements on that server. I like it!

There is a RC(Release Candidate) version of 2.00.03 on the downloads page. Be aware that this is a works in progress patch. It does allow you to play on the public servers.

I also vote to release in Jan 04. I'd like for the game to be as polished as possible! I believe this will be the Crown Jewel of the Battlecruiser series( up to this point!!!), and want the game to reflect that!

The only other space sims I've played besides BC3K/BCM are Freelancer,the I-war demo,Starlancer, and I'll throw in Homeworld(although it's not a sim per se). I liked I-war but never purchased it. The physics were enjoyable, but gameplay was linear. Freelancer looks GREAT, but I HATE the combat. It's too much like arcade game combat. I also dislike being relagated to a small vessel only. I also enjoyed homeworld but never finished it. Starlancer....YUCK!!!
