Guest Hellbinder[CE] Posted September 5, 2001 Report Posted September 5, 2001 I actually bought BC 3000ad v2.0 about 2 years ago for $15. At that time I played it a little bit but was so into Team Fortress that i just let it sit there. Last week I downloaded the freeware version (I have since lost my origional CD). I'm kind of out of the FPS scene right now and have changed gears a bit. The BCM demo made me want to try the origional again. The cool thing is that even though the Game is old, it is still completely fresh and new to me. After spending the last week playing the game for several hours a day I can say that this has to be one of the best games ever made. I am still constantly running into things I have yet to try in the game. I really need to find my origional CD because I want to play it without the debug mode on. There really is no other game like it. Completely origional, completely compelling. It is a real shame that things went down the way they did back in the day. I have no doudt that by now this game would be considered the defacto standard by which all other simulations are judged and have found its resting place in the heights of Doom and Myst. All I can say is that I wish BCM the absolute best. I hope it blows the doors off of everyones expectations and sells a million copies.
Wolferz Posted September 5, 2001 Report Posted September 5, 2001 Turn the debug off. Then get ready to die.
chained_angel Posted September 5, 2001 Report Posted September 5, 2001 Download the patch and turn off debug mode
