Setting Planetfall position

I remember seeing somewhere about how to set your planetfall position.

How can you set it so you come from space to a specific point on a planet (and thus save huge chunks of time travelling uninhabited areas)?

Just set a waypoint for your CC where you want to make planetfall.

See page 51 about waypoints.

I've written up a condensed version here:

You go into Tacops, and "observe" the planet/moon you want.

Click on a general area of where you want to go, or click the "zoom to" command if there's a specific mission zone or starbase you're looking for.

On the bottom of the screen, click on the waypoint key, make sure that the "CC" is selected, click "add", and then "setpos" and click where you want it to go.

Now go initiate planetfall. (Target the planet, and press Shift-9, or fly into it's gravitational pull; either way's cool.) You'll end up where you put that waypoint.
