Okay here's something new John Kerry slammed President Bush that troops went into the war unprepared.. Okay I'm scratching my head. This from a man who has time and time again tried to cut intelligence and military spending GOP paints Kerry as weak on defense. I was waiting for when someone would say "accusing President Bush's political operatives of distorting a strong record on national defense by considering past votes out of context." That's the easiest cop out in the world.

Incredible! That's the only thing that comes to mind.

The military swept through Iraq in record time, used pinpoint accuracy to take out Iraqi military establishments while keeping the civilian infrastructure intact, and Baghdad fell without a fight, and yet Kerry claims that the military was "unprepared."

quote:

Kerry said that U.S. helicopters in Iraq even now "are flying missions without the best available anti-missile systems" and that "un-armored Humvees are falling victim to roadside bombs and small-arms fire.

"The Bush administration waited through month after month of ambushes and only acted to start manufacturing armored door kits three months ago," he said.

Would those "best available anti-missile systems" be any of the systems he voted to discontinue or defund?

Armored door kits? I say those are grounds for impeachment!!

Yeah that too. This from a man who wrote a book and on the cover are marines carrying an upside down flag. People should be bringing that up with the same vigour as they are crying about Bush and his 9/11 campaign ad.

Now that you have read that link in my previous post....

Mr Kerry is also a member of The Order of Skull and Bones.

So any political mudslinging in this upcoming campaign is just more of this Secret Society's belief in chaos to achieve their goal of World Domination.

The old British Royalty is alive and well in America and they reside over every branch of our government. They have secretly charted the course of many nations. stolen much of our wealth and sent many of our sons and daughters to their death.

They are murderers and thieves in every sense of the words.

I feel like nuking Connecticut from orbit.

I am so disgusted I could puke.

Anyone want to help me build an MK III?

From the locked Kerry - Treason thread:

Posted by me:

The rumbling about Kerry's "decorations" are out there, but both sides of the partisan media seem to have agreed to not make an issue of it.

The issue is that of medal inflation. Kerry received a Silver Star, a Bronze Star, and three Purple Hearts. Kerry left Viet Nam due to the three Purple Hearts, which are awarded for receiving injuries in battle. Apparently, three Purple Hearts allows one to have been sent home. The question is how Kerry, on a "Swift Boat" on the rivers of Viet Nam, acquired three Purple Hearts in his short four months "in country," routinely patrolling up and down the rivers. Also of interest is the fact that Kerry, while being awarded three Purple Hearts, also recorded no lost time from duty.

Alas, I can't provide cited sources because the media of both sides are giving this one a pass. All I can point to are anecdotal stories of others from the same era who performed under similar circumstances and question the propriety of the stories being presented today given the situation of the time.

This may be one reason why Kerry won't release his medical history.

You guys have finally reached the absolute heights

of partisan blindness and wanton wrong headed stupidity. Kerry was only in country four months?

SFW!!!! So its a question of medal inflation? Was he under fire? did he not recive the medals in question? Would we even be having this discussion if his and Bush's position were switched?

It looks like the question of Kerry's medals is back in play, now that he's released some of his war records.

From the Washington Times, Records on medals spark questions. An excerpt:

quote:

The military records that Sen. John Kerry posted on his Web site yesterday raise new questions about the actions he took to earn several prestigious war medals and whether he deserved them.

The Navy awarded Mr. Kerry three Purple Hearts, a Silver Star and a Bronze Star in just four months of commanding a gunboat along rivers in Vietnam. It's an extraordinary record, say many veterans, and one that raises questions on its face.

Oh no, I scratched myself, give me a Purple heart!!

Now I've heard it all....

I've looked at some of the records... they didn't take the time to quality check some of them.

I want to know why anyone would vote for Kerry.

I have yet to hear him say anything but, I am a Vietnam war veteran, and I am not Bush.

Anyone care to enlighten me on what else John Kerry, the husband of the Theresa Hienz, billionaire Heiress has to offer bsides thos 2 things.

Are you voting for Kerry, or just not voting for Bush?

It was interesting to see Kerry avoid the beheading story the other day. He seemed absolutely afraid to speak of it. He gave canned stump speeches all day and refused to mention it. He finally made a TV appearance late in the evening to make a statement.

The man will have to learn that, as president, you don't have the luxury of choosing the events that overtake you. It is how you handle them that sets you apart from the rest. Kerry failed that test.

Yesterday, he failed to show up in Congress to cast a deciding vote for extending unemployment benefits, an issue that he's been running on. The vote was 59-40, and Kerry's would have been the 60th vote. Because the vote was to overturn a tax limit (or something like that), it required 60 votes to pass instead of the usual 51. Kerry's argument was that he was told that if he did vote for it, the Republicans would reverse a vote and it would lose anyway.

So, it seems that Kerry was going to vote for it before he decided not to vote for it.

So, what does everyone think of the trial balloon that the Kerry campaign floated the other day about not accepting the nomination at the convention in order to buy more time to spend federal money on his campaign?

OK ...Watch out here I come....

Bush annoys me. I haven't heard two words from Kerry but he's not Bush.

I have never had such a hard time trying to tap what I belive in or what I think is right or wrong.

I read these posts all the time and see everyones opinions. I am hoping that someone could put simply what these guys stand for.

The reason I do not like Bush isn't becasue of the war but I fo not approve of the lack of force we are using there. We have the power we should get in there and get it done.

I am debating not voting at all. As usual do not be overly kind, I am tough I won't cry.

Thanks
