  4. Independents - aka CC with the UCV designation - cannot form a Fleet. You will have to undergo a restructuring plan Instead of calling this proposed motley crew a Fleet, call it a Corporation, LLC, Limited Partnership, a Guild, Information Survices, or what-not. Just DON'T try to call this a Fleet. You will be flagged and fragged if you continue to do this. Last warning TTFN
  5. quote:...So I guess I need to replace it, but before I do I need to get rid of the wrecked interceptor. Any ideas ?Assign SE to repair the FC. TTFN
  6. Logistix > Craft > FC > FC number Page 37 of the manual. TTFN
  7. Look at Page 41 of the manual Tactical Computer > Launch > FC > Select FC > Assign FE to FC using the left arrow button. TTFN [ 01-31-2002, 23:00: Message edited by: Gallion ]
  8. Total waste of effort. You want Mutual Protection then join a Fleet. Indies are just that, Independant. quote:I want to form the "Mutual Protection Union" as a squadron for traders and commercialists. This leads to an important question: I don't need permission to form a squadron, RIGHT? Anyone feel free to respond to that.ONLY if you want this ragtag bunch of malcontents to be officially sactioned (i.e. like Intercorp). You will have a better chance of gaining OFFICIAL sanction if you set up a rival corporation that will COMPETE against Intercorp. That is IF you are trying to get this ragtag bunch Officially sanctioned If so, then you have a lot of work ahead of you. Current Mutual Protection Union: Formulatory Statement needs work, reads like the Articles of Confederation. TTFN
  9. You cannot Mod BCM using GBS-II. You can only script and parse campaigns, missions, or scenarios. Nothing more, nothing less. Don't confuse GBS-II scripting with modding. Two different animals with no relation to each other. If you can code, then you can script. same priciple, different syntax. And BTW, I can't code but I can make some killer scripts TTFN [ 01-28-2002, 19:34: Message edited by: Gallion ]

  12. quote:Originally posted by WeeGee: Chances are I'll probably end up just making missions for BCM, not full blown mods. Now this'll be doable ... in time that is TTFN
  13. Ya right This'll happen about the same time as the B5 mod rolls out. TTFN
  14. This is not a game-ending quirk and is cosmetic in nature. You should properly exit TacOps PLANET Mode when viewing the surface of a planet by selecting the SPACE button from the TacOps Menu. Bottom line: Properly exit form TacOps PLANET Mode by using the SPACE button from the TacOps menu. TTFN [ 01-27-2002: Message edited by: Gallion ]

  17. quote:Originally posted by Gustavo: Ok, thanks a lot. I have to keep selecting new nav points everytime for my probes. It is like a son. you have to take care of it everytime No you don't. The probe will automatically move from one nap point to another in a region. Unless you want the probe to jump to another region that is. Refer to page 22 and 23, PLS, of the manual. And post your System Info data IAW with this announcement by the SC. TTFN
