legally i believe you have the right to make any backup copies of anything you own as long as is it for your personal use .. it would be oppressive not to allow it, but to allow it makes it difficult to control those who go beyond the limits.

I use dBPower Amp music converter 10.0 to convert my audio files. It's a free download, there's lots of options and you can have it so it adds a context menu in explorer for quick conversion. Use it and make sure the compression is set to 128kbps 44hz and CBR mode.

PoBS plans to have dynamic sound generation so each cannon fire sounds a little different from the other ones. After the sounds, the next step to realism in that game is dynamic clouds, as the current cloud & sky system is pretty generic, save for the sky lightning which was worked on not long ago Despite that, the seas look real nice

the pics of the console are still 3D renders, even the pic of the back. And if ever it's a real thing, i think the fact that it relies completely on game downloads will be a turn-down. If, for some reason, it becomes popular, how long would it take for the console to be download a high-profile game like Unreal 2 or Doom 3 (whenever that comes out)? We're talking about a 700+ megs download, and unless infinium labs have a deal with fileplanet the speeds will not be stellar. And since it,s being compared to a pc, would it be able to play feature-rich games which are also CPU hogs like the BC games, X2, homeworld 2 or even simpler games like planetside which still requires uber hardware to play well? .. or will it only have simple games for simple minds?

All 3 games are different. UC is more military-type of game X2 is more of an empire builder game Freelancer is a space-arcade shooter I'd rather say there's no "better one" - it depends on what you like. as for UCs price you'll have to go in the news section to understand what it's all about.
