hmm somehow it feels like the perspective isn't correct, and the skybox .. is really a box. feels messed up. Nevertheless - they say they are still under development for at least a year, and alot can change. (shameless plug) I've been following the development of Pirates of the Burning Sea , a mmorpg set in the early 18th century in the carribeans, and it already started to produce results. Release1 is set to be due out Q1 '04, but i somehow doubt it. Won't have everything but more than enough to make the game work.

In in the pegasus bridge mission (british) you are about 15 guys against maybe hundreds of germans .. and you get shot at from every side, and you kill alot of them and you SOMETIMES take damage (but nowhere close to what you would take normally) ... then in the middle of it, they disable invulnerability. To finish the mission i had to find a hole to hide in to only peaking out to kill tanks since I'm the only one that can do anything but shoot (planting bombs, using artillery, using pazerfausts, oh and i always need to be first)

I have folded paper towers under the 2 front "feet" of the casing of my secondary pc, cos otherwise it would make an horribly loud noise. I also had to play with the cpu fan screws every night for about 2 weeks to remove the vibrations between the fan and the heatsink and its intermittent noise, but now both my systems are making as little noise as they could quote:Another moral learned today: never wear earphones when you are blindly searching for the "headphone out" jack on a sound card while playing music and your software volume control is set to high volume. I put my headphones offset to my ears so i don't temporarily lose hearing capability .. oh and turn off the speakers (if applicable)

I bought a 200$ UPS for my computers but i don't even use it, mostly because it's not enough powerful for my 2 computers at once, even if i don,t plug the monitors on it *sigh*

people either don't "care" about all the little events spread across the calendar, or don't really notice how many die from murder, car accidents, etc, yearly. It's like ambient noise. 9/11 is a "special" event.

in UC you have no blood, no civillians, you don'T beat people up, etc. UC is aiming for a "T" rating, like every mass market game (although UC is not really a mass market game, but that's beside the point) I'm not even sure you can include blood splatters and still get a T rating these days.
