I'm not concerned at all with the review. So far it's the only one that hasn't given a rating of 75% or higher. As more reviews come in (or out), the general consensus will become more clear. It reminds me of the reviews I read of Deus Ex. One out of the five or so reviews I read slammed the game, and the second opinion in that one review disagreed (it was a GamesDomain review). More signs that you're playing WAY too much BCM: Resnig becomes competent. You send an e-mail to the SC warning him that GalcomHQ is under attack and he should evacuate immediately. You get annoyed by the ancient techno music in the background. You send a letter to the Flat Earth Society telling them to "give up, already! The galaxy is flat, not the Earth!". You try to create a hoax of the Second Coming with a Cloning Module. You try to insult a Droidan by calling him a Sega Saturn. You search the bridge wondering if there's a big red button that nobody is supposed to push. You leave the house wondering if you left the cloaking system on.

I'm sure that it was vandalism. A server cleanup would have deleted all tourist structures. A few of the structures that I'm aware of (including my starbase) weren't touched.

The Directory has been updated and a new policy regarding application and listings has been written. It's on display in my office in the village.

Damn, it's happening again. Another vandal has struck the New Village. The following structures have been destroyed: Jerold Keenan's Quarters ISS Mars Regional Training and Command Facility Commanders Village Hall Bastion Park Fortunately, several tourist structures survived because they were yet to be listed in the Directory. I have a few leads to investigate. Don't ask me to tell you what they are: I don't want anyone (including me) jumping to conclusions like last time. Before the obligatory "register now" lectures start popping up, I must say that the tourist builders knew the risks and built anyway. I will continue to support them, but there will be a few changes to Directory policy. I will post them later.

SC, there have been some changes to the BCM review at Game Genie. The rating is now 3/5.

I just visited the building and found a few little problems. 1. The teleporter to LordDavid's office still has a reference to Thorgan in the description. 2. There doesn't seem to be any walkway access to the teleporters. On another note... Cmdr Nova, do you have any information regarding the deletion of Enigma's tourist structures?

Thanks for the info. I'll visit the structure and then change the Directory entry to the new name.

The Insurgent starbase is almost ready. I just need to add a few little things to the Tactical section and find a portrait of Gallion for the Command gallery (hey Gallion, you reading this?). As soon as it's ready, it will be listed in the Directory.

If you expect me to deny that decisive victories in war have led to lasting 'peace agreements', I'm not going to. I know exactly what it can do (if you like, I could post the old essay I wrote on the causes of war, back when I was centre-right), but the idea that it's always going to be like this is rubbish. That article goes on and on about how current circumstances in the world make this system of peace through war inevitable. Well then, change the circumstances! You want an alternative?
