I was going to go over there and give them an honest evaluation of the game but it looks like you guys have succeeded in twisting their knickers up so tight that they might actually start spamming us if they get too many more disagreeing reviews with their views and beliefs. Thusly, I won't bother with it this time. I don't know where they come off with some of their information and how they actually are rating BC3K anyway. If they took the time to actually evaluate the game then they would have stipulated V2.0 Release and not keep harping about V1.0. It's purely a loaded and marked deck and I refuse to play at that table. Plain and simple. By the way, I would honestly have given BC3K V2.0-2.09 the following ratings: Overall: 4.0 Gameplay: 4.0 Graphics: 3dfx-3.5 (because of what I've seen here and what is to come in BCM) Non-3dfx- 2.0 (again for the same reason) Sound: 2.0 (I turn off the Midi and use the crew sound to judge how the game is going and what I'm doing right and wrong. Great tool I might add. Low mark on Sound is because of the Midi) Now that's honest! How do I like the game? Some Brave, soon to be Dead, Soul just come and try to take it away from me! Works just fine. Now about that occasional crash statement, Terminus, Klingon Academy, Tachyon, and all these latest and greatest releases ALL have them. WITHOUT EXCEPTION! So let's finally move on and stop quibling about that occasional crash and start enjoying what the game has to offer. I've not found a crash in the 2.0-2.09 release versions that I could not attribute to my own machine being the factor. "Uncle Rattler" has his own opinion on this subject, like everybody else. We have them because we are entitled to them, not because someone decided for us that it was Ok to have our own opinions. About now you should be starting to get my drift. Now Pavel, if you showed your younger sibling that game and exposed him to it, then that's your shortcomming. I won't call it a character flaw, but I'd never have done it. To start assigning this kind of ratings to games will seriously endanger the free development of some games and further limit the prospective livelyhood of game developers. If you had headed for Pixan when your green time started you would be in position to see the good Doctor and his crew escape from Pixan and come running directly to your ship. That would have guaranteed your successfull completion of the mission. Now you are screwed unless you can get there in a minute.
