Well, anyone who didn't think X3 wasn't going to tax their system, was hoping for too much I think. From what I've read so far, they did play it safe and made X3 a sort of X2 2.5 by fixing some annoyances from X2, while creating others. My only problem with the previous X games was the combat and the AI. If they've addressed those two issues, then I'm happy. Does anyone have a list anyway that shows the differences between X2 and X3? Kinda like the list we have for UCAWA?

Yeah, FPL is quoting Nov 22nd (worse case scenario) for full power restoration. They've also lifted the boil water order for most cities, including here in Weston. As for the Weston cleanup crew; they've started in some areas. My realtor tells me that she anticipates that it would take them inside of 6-8 months to clean up the entire mess in the city. Can you imagine that? No to mention that there was no gas (due to the stations not having generators). Now that some stations have power here in Weston, the lines are like 5-6 hrs long. I ran out this morning to pick up some stuff, saw a shorter line down the street and joined it. Fifty-three minutes later, I was at the pump. They had a $60 per car limit; but since I had gas in the CLK, I only needed $34 to fill up the tank. Of course, the X3 is empty; so I have to go back later because I didn't happen to have an empty gas container with me and the station didn't have any for sale. By the time I left the station, the line had quadrupled. Grocery stores still no longer stock perishables until further notice. They have no ice, water or bread.

heh, gamers will complain about anything. I for one hope they didn't go and fix what wasn't broken. I'm still bummed that they removed the cockpits when in fact they already had them for all crafts, since the first X game. Oh, a new patch is due out today

The last version they tested was 1.00.07; but I sent them 1.00.08 two weeks ago. So, it could be any of those two versions. Dunno; but I created a 1.00.07 to 1.00.08 patch for them. For me, the X games are my Elite fix. No other game comes close to it. So yeah, comparing the BC/UC games with the X games is pointless. They only have one thing in common: space.

I'm fine guys. Just got power back on (I'm one of the luck 3,600 out of 850K that got power) here in Weston. It keeps going on/off; but at least it comes on for a few hours. I'm not worried about my house actually. Material things can be replaced. Its just so depressing when you got out in the neighborhood and see the devastation. I took pictures, videos etc; but I simply cannot bring myself to even process them. I was in hurricane Andrew back in 1992 when I lived in Miami (for those of you who remember), so I'm used to seeing this sort of destruction. Its the worst hurricane that Broward has ever experienced since King back in 1950. There are no such requests in the cat email box. And CAT has nothing to do with CD-KEYs. That email should go to the support email address and the game in question, as well as your previous CD-KEY, should be mentioned in the email.

I agree about the characters being total losers. I dunno why it is that these movie makers tend to put a bunch of - supposedly - absolute badasses in a movie. Then go and give them the worse character attributes this side of brain dead. Oh well, I liked it because I wasn't expecting an Oscar winning movie. It was just mindless fun. I did get to see the trailer for the Underworld sequel those. wow!!!
