A new patch has been released. I usually fire up this gem once in a while, just to make certain I don't forget how to fly.

If you like football movies (no, I'm not talking about Any Given Sunday) such as Hoosiers, you will love this movie. I thought it was really well done and it is Brian Grazer's hand prints all over it. 9/10

I liked it. It did quite a bit without giving away too much for the first half of the movie. It messes with your mind for quite a while; though I found the ending to be a tad anti-climatic. 8/10

Please don't post rubbish. Just because its in the trading dB doesn't mean that it can be used. Sigma mines were only designed for stations and have NO impact on the game. There are three first person inventory items (PSU/PRL/PSS) which were removed when the ability to handle inventory other than weapons, was removed. Every item in the game appears in the trade database because they are part of the same database. Just because its in the trade dB and can be traded, doesn't mean that it is usuable by the player. And if you know ANYTHING about game development, you would know that it is not uncommon to drop features if they are not already in and implemented by the time the game is about to be released. And you've made 8 posts, created 6 stupid threads (all of which have been deleted) refused to fix your sig despite several posts. You've been banned.

He patched the game incorrectly. We already know that this particular issue he is reporting, is the most frequently reported and by people who FAIL to read the instructions provided but just keep posting the same thing over and over. And no, this has NOTHING to do with the INI file. Then he says no error message pops up when it crashes. Thats ludicrous in itself, because a crash will display an error message either in a window and/or in a log file. This thread will self-destruct in a few hours because there are no less than THREE threads already with this same thing in it and with the resolution. He is obviously using a saved game that was from a pre 2.00.14 version and he thought he could get away with it, despite the warning in the VCF. I put that message in specifically for that. And the exact message is "Save file Corrupt, missing object marker" and only appears during the loading of a saved game in which the object marker is different than what the current version supports.

You may have installed the patch incorrectly. Also, you could have just ran the game in a window using the parameter described in the FAQ, to see if you get an error message or not. And please fix your sig; the format is incorrect. *moved*

The COMMLINK computer is used for messages. So, when you get that message, you uhm, just press ALT+C to go to the full screen version, or move your mouse to the top of the display, click there and read the smaller HUD based version.

aha!! Thank you!! We can all go home now. I clearly missed that and I can't imagine why these folks simply didn't understand wtf I was asking. Him listening to the beeps intervals on the transciever won't tell him squat. Now if the intervals he's talking about is the duration of the repeating message and each repeat is ~30 secs long, thats a whole different story. Thanks alex.

Oh great, we keep going around in circles. The math DOES NOT add up unless you KNOW what the intervals are. Now, I have no idea where you folks are getting this ~30 seconds interval from, but unless I missed it from the scene, its not there. THATS what I'm saying and have been saying all along. Without this particular constant (the duration), its just a load of rubbish. Now, I want to know WHEN in that scene did Sayid actually say that it was ~30 secs intervals?

You don't get an email when you register your game. You only get that for the forum registration. Again, please go and read the READ THIS NOW link at the top of the forum.
