GCO is an MMO, so no single-player storyline exists - though of course as with all our games, you can pretty much make your own adventures if you want depending on how you play the game. Additional DLC campaign storyline campaigns were planned for Echo Squad SE but in the end the cost of making them (due to the voice over recording and such), just didn't justify the expense. Apart from that, the tech is pretty old and there is seemingly no point to extending the game that way. I have no desire to make stand alone games tbh. I always planned for an MMO to be my final game, so thats what we're doing atm and is primarily the reason that I can terminated KnightBlade. The latter would have taken too long to do and would have been a major financial risk that I simply didn't want to undertake. So once AAW/AOA were done, I decided to just bite the bullet and move forward with GCO.

And you can also lay all your unresolved bug issues with UC:CE on Derek. That way, he can't ban you for asking questions about legit problems on the new ticket system (unless they are obvious/already resolved on forum, then you'll just piss him off >.> ) hehe

words.fail.me Just go see it. And if you don't see it in 3D, then you're missing out a lot. This film was made for 3D. Cameron is a movie making genius. I suspect that I'll see this two or three more times before the airing ends.

Get a Logitech remote if you're going to be watching DVD movies or using Netflix. And if you need a headset, don't get the MS branded ones - they're expensive for no apparent reason other than branding. Also note that unless you have a Gold account, you won't have access to Netflix from the XB360. Which is why I stream Netflix through my PS3 and on the PC I just use their web player which works very well.

Have any of you played this yet? It is being billed as "better than WoW". They are currently going through a free trial period before launching. Anyway check it out yet? If so, what do you think?

KnightBlade - as a standalone title - was canceled and its feature set rolled into GCO. This is mentioned in the GCO faq. There are no plans to do any new games after GCO. It is our last game. I thought that was made clear already in several places. I guess not.

Anyone else watching this? I kinda like it but it is beginning to drag on and get boring. A recent TV Guide magazine interview says that the writers are aware that it is dragging on but that it is going to pick up with the upcoming episodes. We'll see.

Its rubbish and my guess is that it will be canceled. But I'm still going to watch it (when my DVR has nothing else on it during the off season) until they do cancel it.

Hi and thanks for your continued support. Yes indeed, the old gal had a good run but I felt that it was time to move on and do something different (AAW/AOA) while trying to figure out how best to continue the series in order to be profitable in these current times. Which is why we're doing GCO, which - though slightly different - does not stray very far from the old model. Going that route was the only way to keep the series going. And even though some will complain about lack of single-player, solo play in GCO will have the same premise as in earlier games in that if you don't want conflict, you can pretty much avoid it. In fact, I am thinking of setting up non-PvP servers specifically for solo players. You can follow the discusion over in the GCO thread. heh, yah I did, but unfortunately never found the time to follow through. So many ideas, so little time.

If you actually READ the posts and followed the post I made, you wouldn't have any problem running the demo. Its not rocket science.

The demo does not have ANY activation codes and you must be the ONLY person on the planet who can't run it.

The demo does not need any such activation code. Download it - and the patch - from any of the official sites (e.g. WorthPlaying) located here. Download and install 1.00.06 FULL, then the 1.00.35 patch. Run the game. Make sure your computer meets with the demo's requirements.

....has been canceled. I stopped watching it a few weeks back because it just got boring and preposterous this season. I suspect that Heroes is next in line for the axe.
