Yeah, but most of the reviews - apart from the rubbish GameSpot one - were fine I thought. Even the ones with low scores that didn't quite jive with the review text.

It was OK I guess. Though it felt a bit rushed. A show like this really needs a 2hr premiere I think in order to flesh things out better, rather than rush it. We'll see how it goes I suppose.

I haven't seen much chatter from you guys about this. I take it nobody is as excited about it as? A new gameplay trailer is up. I have to tell you, while it looks like Cryptic's other games, I can't help but wonder how this will turn out. I mean, as bad as SWG is/was, its still going and I suspect that STO will suffer the same fate in that a bunch of Trekkies - with no choice - will stick with it regardless of how good or bad it is since there is no alternative. I'm going to check it out during the free trial (if there is one) because I'm curious.

I'm still undecided. tbh, only Carlyle and maybe the whiz kid, keep me interested for now. The problem they have atm is that every single one of the cast - except for maybe Carlyle's character - is instantly forgettable. Heck, in the [desert] episode where two tossers went through the Stargate and never to be seen again, I didn't even remember who the heck they were. ...plus it can't be any worse than Sanctury. Or can it?

No clue. But you may want to read this too. If your system can handle it, try upgrading to v2.0 and see if that fixes it since thats a newer version which uses XInput same as GCES-SE.
