What gives with that was that something i did or didnt do. I was only attacked by one ship. This is discussed in another thread and this is not the thread of this as it is not tech support related.

If the altitude is a negative number - which from the shots, it is - its definitely below the water. In the pic you posted, the ship is definitely on the seabed. You are looking at it from under water, thats why there are two shades. If you tilted the camera, you will be able to see it as in my shot which you posted above. In my shot above, the ship has not yet sunk to the bottom of the seabed. It is still floating and thats why it is partially submerged. [ 08-05-2002, 05:18 PM: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]

I've tried loading games and it froze at the end of the loading screen or as soon as I got in the cockpit, but upon lowering all my config graphics settings, I didn't have that problem (and then when i raised them again the game continued to run). Let me see if this version works YOUR CONFIG SETTINGS DON'T AFFECT SAVED GAMES

There's nothing wrong with those pics. Obviously the craft is not on the seabed. sheesh Even then, you have the camera at a different angle and its not positioned at the ship. The water levels are colored differently. Your CC doesn't begin to sink immediately when it impacts water. This gives you enough time to get everyone out. Lemme guess. It never did occur to you to check the depth of where you are or to exit the craft and check. [ 08-05-2002, 02:49 PM: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]

It depends on how much you want to spend. If money is no object, get the new upcoming nVidia board. And if you're not allergic to ATI boards, get their latest 9700 model. If you want one now and don't want to wait, get a GF4 Ti4200 or Ti4600

It is, so I dunno what you're talking about. Nothing's changed except that if you have the above items, you might survive. How many fools do you think would be in possession of full armor and a PSU (optional inventory item) at any one time? And even if you have it, it may not even be charged. Which means, you'll still be roasted (after being illuminated a nice, bright Orange first ) Even a regular OTS will cause you harm and radiate you if you don't get killed - assuming you are standing within its blast radius. I'm probably going to be rendering all radiated personnel a nice glowing Green or Orange so that you can see them a long distance away. [ 08-05-2002, 01:05 PM: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]

Your CONFIG settings don't affect saved games. If the game doesn't load when you restore it or when you use resume, it doesn't necesarily have anything to do with the saved game. It probably loads but your graphics (or sound) is not initialized. You need to read the FAQ guidelines on how to start from scratch with a patch and then go from there. You MUST scrub the folder entirely after you uninstall!

Whats the matter with you? Too lazy to check forums you posted in?

I bought it the first week it was released. I've read it. Quite interesting. My biography is still in works and has been since 1998 actually.

In BCG, as a marine you can survive a RANDOM attack if you have sufficient armor and a Personal Shield Unit (PSU).

You're sure it didn't say Missing In Action? If you weren't in the ship when it was destroyed, you would be MIA, not KIA. Either way, both end your career -
heh, one would've had to be around for a pretty long time to truly appreciate the disdain for Resnig. [ 08-05-2002, 01:17 PM: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]

Besides, like every game based on a franchise series, all whats gone into the BC games, wrt the history, aliens, castes etc were fleshed out many, many years ago and will take at least another several years (BCO and beyond) to come to full realization. In fact, it is only in BCM that you can play any race/caste other than Terran/Military. And in BCG you will still be able to choose the desired race/caste, but you can also buy a new ship at any time and transfer all your crap+crew into it. Unlike BCM, BCG doesn't allow you to pick the best available craft from the word go. You can only pick whats available at the station at the time (usually a bunch of scrap metal) etc etc With the ability to construct your own planetary cities, bases, space stations etc, well, BCG will cater a lot more to those non-hostile castes than ever before. There are lots of tiny things in BCG that aren't even mentioned in the features list. Why? Well, that would spoil the surprises won't it?

If you didn't apply the patch properly, you will have a problem. Those station models were replaced a while ago and the batch file deleted some of the animations for those that used to have animated docking bays. If you didn't run the patch properly and the batch file didn't delete then obsolete animation files, you'll have problems. You should not have any of these files as they are deleted by the FULL patches. code: .modelsanimategalcomhq.ini .modelsanimategammula.ini .modelsanimatesstat*.ini .modelsanimategammbay*.3d .modelsanimateghqbay*.3d .modelsanimatess?bay*.3d Other than that, there's nothing different between one station or the other except the model type. And the model has nothing to do with docking. So, look elsewhere for the problem if you are certain that you applied the patch properly as it has nothing to do with the station. Effective immediately, if I ever find a deadlink to any custom avatar or sig image, I am going to delete the person's profile entirely I have already deleted jmarcel.f2s.com from a couple of sigs and I still see that some of you are still linking to a dead site. You HAVE been warned.

******* SPOILER alert ******* Are you kidding me? Real people? How many people do you know, will go to their next door neighbor, find an alien there, chop his fingers off and go home like it never happened? Oh, this part I like : how about the guy in the truck driving off to the Lake and telling Mel, in a matter-of-fact tone, "...oh, don't go in the pantry, I locked one of them in there" How utterly ludicrous! It was a great suspenseful movie. Excellent acting. Good gags. Nice story. .....until you got to the end. I almost wanted to kill myself. Its one of those movies where the writer (Shyamalan) gets to the end and then wonders if he left the stove on. At which point he proceeds to wrap it up - QUICKLY & FOOLISHLY - and heads for home. This movie had more laughable holes than my favorite bra. 7/10 [ 08-03-2002, 02:01 PM: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]

Works fine here. You obviously didn't go into MISCON and select the campaign from there. Thats why the default one is always used.
