This implies to me its recommended for the BCM game.. Nothing to do with anything. An FF enabled joystick works just like a regular joystick. The ad has nothing to do with BCM. Its called placement and someone paid them a lot of money to use my page.

Jaguar's got his, and I've got a special one for LordDavid but I want him to see it first. I've never done morphs or animated gifs before, so it's been a fun learning experience. Well, back to lounging around the VCF. Pass me a cold one. It looks good. Anyway, lets not go off-topic too much.

I was hopping there is something I'm missing,.....like the system they use in 'HOMEWORLD'(holding down shift, you are able to set depth on a 3d plain). Is there a button to press i'm missing? Is this not adressed in BCM or BC3k ? Help sc....anyone???????? Tacops is 3D but the points are 2D projected onto a 3D plane. Why on Earth would you need to plot a point in arbitrary space? And no, I don't think you're a veteran BC fan since you don't know about C&C nor station capture, as evidenced in the other thread. So, LEARN how to the use the system you have or you'll just hurt yourself complicating it further. RTFM

Nothing to do with BCM. Check your system.

I got both service packs, and I still get the same error... I don't see how it can be my video card because the demo worked for me during the summer, when i was running winME... Capt. HM WHEN were you planning on actually ANSWERING some of the questions you are being asked? Or don't you need help at all?

I don't foresee any new critical additions to the 1.0.01 patch actually, apart from this CD issue. I would however like to make the NPC marine's a tad smarter (since its not an FP game, I didn't focus too much on a lot more states as I do for ships) but thats not high priority. Getting mp up to speed is. But by the same token, it would be pointless releasing an mp patch if there are still lingering bugs in sp. In fact, they could prove to even more annoying. And apart from that, the mp patch is not something I'm just going to release to the public like a regular patch. It will have to undergo stringent performance, play balance and gameplay testing via the int/ext Beta testers before it is declared fit to be released to the public. Which means, there is NO chance that I'll release it before Jan, as I DO plan on taking off in Dec on a much needed vacation.

OK - OK, I'm all for free speech and all that abusive rubbish, but lets refrain from calling our political leaders (e.g. The President) names in this forum. OK? Thanks ps: No, I didn't vote for him either

(jstuart)Yup, I know that. Mr. Smart is proably putting together all the final product in his home with his family members as the workforce. That's why its taking a little extra time. He got most of it right, except for the workforce part. The fact is, I'm not handling production. There are THREE companies involved and thats one aspect of the delays. Anyway, I'm releasing a press statement tomorrow, along with other titbits of info related to this.

I will wait for more opinions before I make a final decision.

psssst. I finished working on an E3 demo (3 fp missions) yesterday and was going to release it tomorrow. But I am considering not releasing it because of that CD bug mentioned in the VCF. I have yet to fix it. I know I'll fix it by the time the game starts hitting shelves week of 11/12 but by then, a demo won't matter. The last thing I want is to release a demo which some idiots are going to use to stress me out even more. Funny thing is, I discovered this bug while testing the demo! I usually don't try to walk up the sides of buildings (because I know I can't do it) and I came across this one purely by accident as I was running away from some creep with a BMP9. Thats a standard email that goes out. Imagine what they have to go through with Blizzard's products.

I have started updating the VCF with entries in the upcoming patch release. If you have any comments, post them here.
