  3. I have upgraded the board to the latest version of UBB. Some corrupted threads were found and have been deleted. I will be closing the board around midnight or early in the morning in order to back it up entirely. Tomorrow, I will look for and install some UBB add-ons e.g. Who's Online etc. If you have a suggestions for UBB add-ons, let me know.

  9. ...and I don't know why people keep posting to the tech support forums when the game isn't even released yet. I just deleted yet another thread - this time in the multiplayer thread. The next person to post in any of those threads, is getting banned from the site. Thats the end of that.
  10. quote: Originally posted by Badgerius: Thank you for the responses, but I'm confused, why is it not relevant? I would think it would be vital information when choosing a CC. It is not relevant because it is not related to the asset choices you have when you create a new game.
  11. quote: Originally posted by Joel Schultz: Hey, did anyone notice that editting posts doesn't produce those [EDITED ON] bracket messages anymore? I disabled it because some people who modified their posts multiple times, forgot to remove the previous notation that the post had been edited.
  12. quote: Originally posted by Epsilon 5: In the first pic, you are the "thing" in the upper right corner on the screen, on the roof, right?Just making sure What do you think? Especially after seeing the other pics.
  13. quote: Originally posted by Epsilon 5: I think the easiest race/caste combination for n00b's is gam/raider You're joking, right?
  14. quote: Originally posted by Gallion: Ooooppsss My dyslexia kicked in again. Thought you were refering to crew compliment of various CC types. To Wit: Genesis it took as Generis But to answer your question Badgerius: Station ship compliment data was not tracked/added in the appendix (old or new version) as it was for BC3K. However, ye never know need to dwell on that for a while. TTFN The compliment of assets at stations has changed in BCM but that info is not tracked in the appendix because (a) its not relevant ( it is only available in the GBS objclass.scr file (which I have yet to release) and © I forgot to tell Gallion to do it. Gallion, if you want to do it, contact me.
  15. Here is a good one. After running around on this base killing everyone and blowing up stuff, I ran out of grenades, just when they called in more troops. So, since I still had some charge in my jetpack, I flew to the top of the nearest building. Pictures are worth a thousand words. Hey you!! get down from there! ....but I come in peace! No really!!! Tell your men to back off first, I can see all of you from here. Send me a donut and I'll think about coming down. No seriously
  16. quote: Originally posted by Paddy Gregory: It was just a follow up to the discussion between Jag and Emmett, that's all. Hadn't really occurred to me before. That'll be all for now. Right. But lets keep it on topic. You've probably read Gallion's advisory, so I need not repeat it.
  17. OK, so its gory then. I'll pass
  18. quote: Originally posted by Paddy Gregory: Did I say they were? I had the impression they would be implemented in MP. Yes Why not, seems like a good idea. *hseehs* Given your answers above, why then did you bring this up in THIS thread?
  19. heh]
  20. quote: Originally posted by Paddy Gregory: On that point, do naval fleets have STO batteries? Or are they strictly ground-based? Where do you see STO's implemented? And do you even KNOW what an STO is? If you DO know what it is, what makes you think it would be mounted on a naval craft? *sheesh*
  21. quote: Originally posted by mO: I saw this movie too, for those that watched it- did you guys see how the alien manifested the guy 'Pete' so that the psycholigist would want to save him, then after the pyscholigist found out what happened to the poor man, the alien left his body so the pyscholigist would look after him, and see to his recovery? Thus helping the poor man whose family was killed. uhm yeah, and? Remember first of all that the alien was friends with the guy whose family was kiled. Also that the alien didn't know that he would be sent to a psychiatric hospital. That just happened by pure coincidence at the begining. So, as far as I could tell, it was purely coincidental I think. Unless I missed something. Besides, since he was only allowed to take one person back, he could've taken his friend back, not Bess, a total stranger.
  22. quote: Originally posted by mO: gory or not, i saw that movie and it was well.....I was disapointed, gory? na not really....you see the ghosts so much they are not scary anymore. oh? no heads or limbs being lobbed off then? Describe one gory scene for me.
  23. quote: Originally posted by $iLk: I haven't liked the way Maximum PC has gloated about how the GeForce 3 is history now that Radeon is here, while only a couple of months before, they claimed the GeForce 3 heralded the second coming of Christ.Maximum PC is misleading and rates products on what they are "supposed to achieve" rather than actual practice. Just had to throw that in there. ATI sucks and NvIdia RuLEZ!! I agree. I can't wait to see how they address this in their December or January issue, seeing that they gave the 8500 a perfect 10 and called it the GF3 killer right on the cover of the November issue...using tainted benchmark scores.
  24. LOL!! Thats the right way to do it. Permission granted. If I let everyone pass my files around, next thing you know, they'll be passing ISOs around too.
  25. heh, Brian Hook's take on my rantage.
