When they engaged the target they engaged ALL personel, vehicles, etc. read the standard R.O.E. for the US military. Once you engage, you do NOT disengage until you are given the order or all targets are neutralized (surrendered or D.O.A.).

I've met those unknown contacts before. Mine was a Gal/Mil. I think these definitly are the high AI dudes that the SC talks about. At any rate, they're a pain in the ass. Out of pure luck the guy fled (or so I think, he cloaked and I haven't seen him since) after I bouted with him for about 20-25 minutes. Way too long, I'm suprised a battle between two ships could last that long, much less a carrier and a questar (me). I took some heavy damage too, but I survived. I was using my tactic of fire and evade. I try to get my ship perpendicular to my opponent then let loose the gods of war. Before colliding, or if they make a sudden turn, I quickly evade all fire (if possible), and start a new run. Not a single one of my missles hit this guy... Good Luck at disposing your headache, make sure you keep a backup of the save .

Amen Gryphon! It disgusts me to see comments as yours Dragon Lady! Unfortunately, not everyone is as fortunate as everyone else in this country. Granted, MANY of the poor population need to try harder to get off of foodstamps and such, but don't be so critical. I know PLENTY of poor families that try their hardest to make it better for themselves. THE SADDEST PART THOUGH IS THE PEOPLE THAT SAY THINGS LIKE YOU WHO WON'T LET THEM GET HIGHER!!! Yes, its true, oppression does occur in this "FREE" country of ours. Several of the families that I know of have actually been turned down for jobs, even though they are clearly qualified, just because of their current social status. (i.e. Someone with 20 years experience with a position who is poor attempts to get a job with a firm, yet is turned down for a college student with no experience and is from a upper class family) I suggest going on a pilgrimage to a poor district nearby. THEN afterward, try to be critical of the poor. Gryphon is also right about the doctor's bill type thing. Many families become poor daily just because of medical bills. Did you perhaps think about them when you made your comment? It surprises me, I did not expect you of all people to be so stereotypical. Perhaps I had been only blind before.
