It couldn't last. Let me explain: I just got boarded by 9 intruders...(I didn't know that could happen on a Sunflash!). Must have been that first guy's buddies, cause they took Resnig out before he had time to give any warning. Before I could hit a station, they severly damaged my shields, and took out two more marines. What a riot! In short, now my Resnig's dumber than ever. *sigh* Resnig clones...there's a scary thought. I just saved and exited specifically to post this gem. Resnig has met his match! Resnig gets one off! Okay, so here I am, just left Lyrius after having a nice 4 wheeling session. Leave orbit...suddenly, Resnig sounds off about an intruder... I leap into Perscan...and have to laugh! Yes, there's an intruder alright. Exactly one of them. Where is he? Operations. LOL! Not even Resnig could mess THAT one up, not with all 5 of his marines there with him. Never saw an intruder with an AI LOWER than Resnig's before. Maybe I'll give him a medal. Resnig, that is. Really Gallion? I'd wondered about that, as I've been itching to ditch this Live! for over a year now... Can't say I've been quite as willing to risk another Creative product. Yet, doesn't appear to be much competing with the Audigy at present. Idaho

Two waypoints suffice for me. 1 with proceed to next, one to deploy drone. If you give them no other orders after that, they automatically RTB after. And might I suggest mining some of the moons in Uranus or Saturn's subregions...because I get good hauls worth big bucks from those two...depending on which moon. My crew wears diamond and platinum like they're Walmart costume jewelry. Idaho

I'd have to guess you've got system config problems, Bandus. I regularly drop Bugnors all over earth, and the moon. (in fact, I've destroyed all non-ally non-neutral bases on the Moon...probably over 40 bases!!). I use tacops to watch the missiles hit every time. I never have a problem with CTD's doing that. (Never have a speed problem either, but then I guess my system config's responsible for that). My advice: Reinstall DX 8.1, then recheck your drivers: Look for Nvidia leaked beta drivers version 27.42. Go to Creative Lab's website, and download the latest driver package for your SB Live from there, (be sure to get the version for YOUR card, not for the Live 5.1 for example). And lastly, be sure you're running the latest Via 4-1 drivers for your motherboard. Also be sure you're running the current Windows Media Player. Update it from Microsoft if you need to. Reread the FAQ here thoroughly. There are hints that can improve stability there. (Such as using command line options to disable 3D sound...for some with SB Live! cards this helps immensely in killing crashes). Hope some of this info helps. Idaho

I had a few friends visit me here at the homestead today. First thing I did was get them to really look hard at that picture. Let's just say it was worth the effort on my part. And I managed to keep from laughing while they got real close to look harder at those curtains. Idaho

Only point I could bring up Frax: No one can force a guard/prison worker to press that button. He has options. Like anyone at any job. He doesn't like it, let him find another job. Pretty simple. For the record, I don't believe any state would allow anyone to be FORCED to participate in execution. (With the exception of the convict heheh). Small point, but a point nonetheless. Idaho
