Who cares? Put down mining drones, capture starships, gather cargo pods, and fly trading missions. You'll make so much money that your salary will seem like chump-change. I've never noticed my salary, it's so small in comparison to the money I make from other means I can't tell when it comes in.

Not specifically an issue.... But I couldn't post in the BCG discussion forum so this is the closest forum to my question. I am saving my money to upgrade my system in anticipation of BCG. I read the system requirements, but to be honest, I don't know enough about video cards to know what pixel and whatever shader is. What brand/make/model of video card fits the bill. Assuming money is no object, what would you put in your rig? Assuming you're a poor blue collar worker like me, what would you put in your rig? Endorsements anyone?

Cloaked ships are nothing more than an annoyance, since you can't lock onto them. However, if you are near one they almost never turn their PTA off. PTA will only irritate the skin, as it were, but it gives away their location. You can't use targeting to get a target lead designator, but IOD is tracer-like. Just shoot for the middle of the little flashes of lightning that is the cloaked ship being revealed by it's own pta. When you are in a situation like that keep your eyes peeled and look all around you for that tell-tale spark. Whatever you do, don't sit still and always EMD when you hear a launch.

I usually carry cheep STS missiles for the annoying bugs. Or get out of my CC and cap them myself. There is a sense of gratification to plug a space-marine yourself. But what confuses me is how I hear his death groan and grunts of pain through the void of space..... Oh well, It's just a game.

Heh... Parasites. Gammulans. Insurgents. Politicians. They all ammount to the same thing, don't they?

I've got a verbal sparring match going on with Gammulans and Insurgents on the newbie boards and nobody from prime fleet is jumping in..... Do you guys just not get involved when a cadet gets into a bar fight?

I love a verbal sparing match. You're right the vermin keep comming back.... But different ones, and few dogs die of fleas.

I'll have to remember that. I hadn't noticed that you were Insurgent. Silly me. I guess I don't see that insignia often, since most of them wind up being space dust too quick.... There's a reason Gammulans are worth more ep than Insurgents. ----boy, am I in for a "whupp'n" if I ever get to play online.....---

Well, if capturing every star-station with their name on it isn't enough harrassing...... Oh well. I've taken to beaming down and plugging their soldiers one at a time. It's much more gratifying to watch them die in person.... You'd think they'd send a tank after me after a while.. But nope. Just marines that can't hit a sidestepping target.

Okay... Where are they? I flew through Credian space, through Valkarie territory, straight up to Gammula capturing every hostile starstation on the way. I've only had one Gam/mil Stormcarrier confront me... After waking up from a 3 minute nap while waiting for him to jump to my position he only took 20 seconds to wax. Those big slow luggers take a while to get out of HJ and they're terribly vulnerable to IOD fire. But where the heck are the dreaded Gammulan fleets? I'm waiting for a butt kicking and I'm not getting one. I expected more action than this. I am in roam and have spent time mining and upgrading my Violon. But I am running into more raiders and criminals than Gam/mil. I'm starting to wonder if there are any Gammulan military out there. How do I get them to come after me? I don't even have a fleet with me fer cryin' out loud. I'm just one ship!
