Thanks $iLk but I already found that stuff..... very interesting indeed ......but I cannot find the probe at that coordinates ....... right now I'm returning to OBSIDIA to try a different way of searching....... Bye....

I've searched the forum for a while to find if there is a way of changing the color of the text in the posts or in mi signature...... finding nothing. So now I create this topic to ask all of you vets and naturally the SC if someone could help..... I'd like to cgange color to a row in my sig (the one with my ship's motto) and set it to red or something like that..... HELP VERY APPRECIATED!!!
-
Doesn't matters to me...... I'm going to buy it anyway...... KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!!!
-
Really no one could help...????

Here's the topic I was talking about.... The PTA turret sweet spot There you'll find many useful info....
-
There is an entire topic about the PTA system that you surely will find interesting...... Try searching fot the word PTA and you'll find it... However I'm the commander of an AESTROM class supercarrier and I've finished the ACM campaign without using a missile nor a figther..... the trick is using the PTA at it's best and when engaging a faster craft try to use your backward thrusters before you get at point black range.......
-
Yes... I can confirm that it works on BCMG too.... but you not have to put INSURGENT MILITARY on the start menu..... It'll be overrided by the campaign selection....
-
Hi PowerCow!!! Welcome back on board......
-
Cool..... now I'm not gonna bother you MARVIN again...... THANKS A LOT PERY!!! I owe you one...
-
Yeah.... that's it..... sorry guys but I'm italian and even if I speack some english (or at least I try) I got some problems with abbreviations.......(MARVIN knows something about that... don't you...) Different languages use different standard for telling the same thing.....
-
Thanks... can't remember what's IIRC but I take the answer is SHIFT+E and then brush up my piloting skill or I'll crash on ground..... Thanks again..

I've searched the forums for an answer but didn't find anything helpful..... How can I land with my CC or with a SC or FC on a planet surface...? I've tried to level my flight, stop and switch to VTOL flight mode, I lower my altitude but when I try to touch the ground the altitude never reaches 0 and if I stop using the trusters I will gain some meters of altitude. Is there a way to land, especially with shuttles since they can deploy craft and personnel there must be a way..... Help appreciated.....

Same to me.... I'm not a believer so I can't pray for you.... but you have all my support.

Anyway, I understand that you saved your game before trying suicide. Thanks SC for giving us a 2nd chance!!! Well... I transport down a marine and nothing happens to him....... how the hell can he survive if my AE dies iinstactly and with the very same gear...???

Well..... very interesting topic to me... but I have a question..... the probe is there in ACM mode too..? I've finished my campaign and then I went to OBSIDIA and STARGAZER to have a look to that probe..... I scanned both planet but can't find a trace of a probe..... only find a place called UTOPIA small enough to be covered by a marine's feet.......anyone can clarify my ideas..?
-
well.... I cut 'n' paste it to send it to some of my friends used to complain a lot..... (barely useless since the most of them doesn't speack a sufficent english...)... Really nice....

Off topic but I just want to elaborate a little on what Denny said. quote: Try to dock to a starstation and repair there.... or access the TRADCOM interface and in the SPARE PART look for items with two numer separed by a slash (such as 1/0)... The first number is what you need for repairs of one of your assets systems and the second # after the slash is what you already have in inventory (need/have). So if you want to perform all repairs with your own system engineers then you need to buy until the first number is at least equal to the second number for all spare parts listed in Tradcom. Yeah... thanks for the precisation...I can't remember that clearly when I posted that thing..... See ya....

Yeah... cool.... speaking in your language and be understood by everybody........ Translator better find another job.....

WHOA!!! IMPRESSIVE WORK KORG..... I'll really appreciate having a file with that info on my pc.....when it's complete.... Or maybe you can PM GALLION asking to put it in the appendix.....

Ah yes, thanks for your help but that was ages ago and it's all sorted now. The thing I was doing wrong was leaving drydock with the repair at 100% but engineers still showing on the Logistix-Crafts list. Anyway, I fly an Aestrom now so I don't even need my main guns - I have my PTA. NEVER UNDERSTIMATE THE POWER OF YOUR MAIN GUN SYSTEM!!!! If you can place a few shot right in something..... well it'll be vaporized before you can think of it twice..... However if you don't have a joystick I'm afraid they'll be useless..... apart from strafing buildings on surface bases or capital ship coming out of hyperspace.... such as those big ugly and dead gammulan stormcarier....

quote: Originally posted by Korgmeister: Ja, thank for the tip. I should have realised that with the turrets placed at the range they were, that they would only be effective at medium range. No, I was being silly and trying to take out fighters at point blank (less than 2km) range. This will definately be food for thought. If I'm going to produce visual aids to help new Commanders to identify the sweet spots, I will need to include effective range. All Commanders, your help will allow me to compile this sooner. Please list the effective turret ranges (and sweetspot) positions of all craft that you are familiar with. I'm currently Familar with: Canlon: Sweet Spot is straight above, effective range is from 0.5-20km Generis: Straight above or straght below, effective range from 0.5-20 km Straight ahead, effective range from 5-20km Megaron: First recticle from centre on port (left) side. effective range from 0.5 - 20km Anything else you know will be handy. I'll see about whipping up a few graphics later on in the afternoon, hopefully. Well, for the AESTROM class I usually use the backward trusters to gain some distance from a point blank fighter chasing me...... and it works greatly allowing you to outmaneuver even the fastest craft..... For the PTA ranges I can only say that with bigger craft such as enemy CCs I have my PTA firing at ranges well beyond 20km..... maybe 30km... ... and untill something like 1.5 - 2km.....

Besides, I don't have a joystick (desk not big enough) and I can't seem to get mouse flight to work. Doesn't matter, those cities are easy to take out anyway, and money isn't a problem. I'm not really in the big league yet so mining provides me with more than enough cash. Illegal items in insurgent campaign.....
DennyMala replied to DennyMala's topic in Universal Combat Series

They're not criminals in a certain point of view, they're simply rebelling against Galcom for what they believe to be a common good, hence the name Insurgent rather than Criminal. Yes, surely right and I agree with that..... but no point in following GALCOM rules about traditional good suddenly banned as illegal by them..... I think that this could be one of the minor causes of the INSURGENCY.....
