Cmdr Ristar replied to Supreme Cmdr's topic in General Multiplayer Fleet Discussions
Can there be the same model for different fleets, ie Wraith having model 7 lets say and same for ISS or do they need to be different. I would like to have model 8 for ISS, model 4 as a second choice. For SCID, I would like model 3 for SCID, model 2 as a second choice. Tringad, I know you are ISS Fleet commander, but if you had to claim a model before someone else and there could be no duplicates, then I wanted to make a bid now, if you don't want these models let me know and I'll edit the post. I realized something last night about the time sequence of bringing in the ISS Mole thread into the role playing. I forgot to put a time on it. The entire post I did about the ISS mole takes place during the Prelude to the Dance build up. I will be posting later today, I just wanted to let people know when that took place because it has Tringad in a conversation with people, when he is actually heading out to LV-103. Fleet Cmdr. Ben, put your positions on separate lines, if you have multiple titles, just shift everything down 1 line. Josh, that looks fine. Strategic Cmdr. I remember his interviews, they were good. I'm in. Tringad, are you going to be doing the interviews? Strategic Cmdr. Good idea, I didn't even know you could work it that way. Well you learn something new everyday. Thanks, Strategic Cmdr. I see others doing this so we might as well. We need to uniform our sigs. I see some people posting, that don't have a uniform sig. Here is the way they should be: First Line: Rank and Name in bold Second Line: Ship Name, and Fleet number Third Line: Fleet title (if you don't have a title, put what Wing or Directorate you belong to) Fourth Line: If you belong to the Jade Dragon, put your title here. Fifth Line: any medals won 6th line on: A link to your ships web page or your fleet web page. The web page must include a link to the ISS web page and once we get the SCID page up, a link there also. It must also include a link to the BC3K home page. Cmdr.Zwycky for your Jade Dragon line, use the following: Member - Order of Jade Dragon. I know I still need to get you that information, I will get it to you soon. Re doing some of it. I typed out my sig in a word document and copy and paste it each time, that saves time. I posted the role play about the ISS Mole on the Death Wraith forum. If you want to go and read through everything and start posting your missions go ahead. Cmdr.Jamont, you are going to be focusing on the mole in ISS. The door is open for you. If you have any questions about your post, I don't know how experienced you are at RPG, ask Tringad or myself or anyone to help with your post. Try to keep it flowing with the role play and leave it open for someone to pick up the next post Everyone has done a good job in the post so far Strategic Cmdr. I am creating this topic for use for discussing role playing only. If you have ideas or need help with your role play ideas to make sure they are going to blend with the current ideas of others post it here first to make sure. That is why it is important to check the form at least once a day to see if you need to give input about something so another can post if he/she is waiting.

The next few posts in this thread are from a previous thread about a mole in the ISS. I wanted to bring the Insurgents in on this, if they want to role play the mole and a possible assassian against me later on in the role play. Whoever the mole will be email me and I will give the details. If not then we can write a Gammulan hired assassian into the part. I was just leaving the door open for the Insurgents to get in on this. I altered one of the players. I changed my name to Cmdr. Jamont, now that he is the INtel wing commander, and this gives him an opening to begin role playing as he is new to it completely {rp on} Fleet Cmdr. Alun Tringad sat in his office aboard Renegade, going through the endless stack of reports and paperwork. 'Paperwork' really didn't describe it anymore, but the term stuck. The recent re-structuring of ISS Fleet was hell on the command staff. How the simple changing of the units names was causing so much trouble was beyond him. As he read each report, he came across something strange, a report that didn't belong in his office. 'Must be a mixup' thought Tringad. But when he saw that a page, mearly a term for the next screenful of text nowadays, was missing, he knew something was wrong. He was about to investigate when there was a buzz from his desk. "Sir, incoming transmission from the Midway" came the secretary's voice over the commlink. "Ok, put it through" replied Tringad. Commander Danz Borin's face appeared on the screen. Borin had been Tringad's tactical officer and XO aboard the Black Falcon for a long time before getting his own command, the GCV Midway (a Starcruiser-class Heavy Cruiser), and assigned to the First ISS Task Force. "Danz, been a month since I last heard from you, what the hell is wrong with you?" yelled Tringad with a smile. "Been busy, boss" replied borin. "Doing what?" "My job, what do you think?" "Don't make me pull rank" Tringad's smile got bigger. "You don't outrank me anymore, remember?" "Damn, what were the brass at Galcom HQ thinking when they promoted you?" "I was about to ask the same of DeSylva when he made you TSA Coordinator" Borin's smile caught up with Tringad's. "Alright, enough. Anyway, what's new? Why bother me in my office?" asked Tringad. "Had to check in, make sure all that paperwork hadn't killed you." "It almost has. You on Renegade?" "Yup, just got in" "Good, meet me for a drink in the bar, I get off in fifteen minutes" "Alright, meet you there" -------------------- Tringad sat down at his favorite table. Officers of his position weren't supposed to have a favorite table, but he did anyway. "So, why did you want to meet?" asked Borin. "Here, look at this. Tell me what you think" Tringad handed him the datapad. "Hm, that's strange. A whole page is missing?" asked Borin after looking through the report. "Yeah, not only that, but it's not even from my wing. It's from Jamont's Intel Wing" "Well, you know pen-pushers, they always mix things up" "Not this bad, Intel Wing reports are top-secret, and are not filed by normal Fleet staff" "I wouldn't worry about it so much, Alun, it's just a missplaced report," Borin said as he took a sip of his drink. "Maybe, but you know me, 'mister paranoid'. I'll check in with Jamont and see if he knows anything. This might just be bigger then we thought. -----Meanwhile aboard the GCV Svoboda----- Ben was still becoming accustomed to his new position as Adjutant to the Strategic commander. It was an incredible honour, and an awesome responsibility to be the galactic eyes and ears of the fleet commander, and act as his representative in many situations. His security clearance was only one below command level. His parents had been so proud when he had told them. Even with the Zwycky familys illustrious heritage, no one had ever reached such a position. Not that his head was in the clouds- he understood his duties and responsibilities and was capable of them, but he still found joy in the title of his personnel file. After filing his latest tactical report, Ben decided to head over to Renegade stations main bar to relax, as his latest tour of duty was now over. As he walked through the station corridors, he thought to himself as he often did- that he would have liked to have someone to share this life of his with. Someone like Jana or his thoughts momentarily drifted to the girl who had unknowingly caused him so much pain, the one he grew up with, who captivated him all those years. He dismissed those thoughts. They never did any good. He reached the bar and spotted the ISS Fleet Commander in a conversation with a commander he wasnt familiar with. His voice seemed strangely familiar though, which probably meant theyd been introduced. It happened a lot. Ben just caught the end of their conversation. ".....this might just be bigger than we thought." "Hi Alun! Hows it going?" "Hi Ben! Not too bad. How are things in Defense wing? Cmdr Dilvorn pushing you all too hard?" "Not too hard, not too slack. He seems to be adjusting well to his new position, and making good use of us all. I really feel like weve been doing some good out there." "Thats encouraging. Hey, I hear congratulations are in order!" "You heard about that? Yeah, were all pretty happy about that. A lot of us could see it happening, but didnt expect it quite so soon. It looks pretty likely theyll want me to do the ceremony, which will be a new challenge, but an enjoyable one I hope. They make a great couple. What was that you were talking about just now?" "Here, take a look at this." Tringad handed him the report. "Ah, yes, I heard about this situation. Hey, theres a page missing!" "Thats what Im worried about." "You think its a lapse in security?" "Its a possibility." Really? If someone was leaking this report, theyd have to be pretty amateurish to make a mistake like deleting a page. "I still think its worth looking into." "Well, thats up to you, but if youre that worried, why not let Briggs and Elworthy do a residual data analysis on it and the backup of the original file to check for tampering or copying. Theyre pretty experienced in that area, and they know what to look for." "Briggs and Elworthy. I hear they're pretty good." Tringad looked over at Borin. "What do you think?" "I think anything is worth a try at this point. If this is a security leak then we need to take all possible measures to stop it." Borin looked at Ben. "I think we've met, but I'm not sure. Commander Danz Borin, at your service." "Ben Zwycky. Nice to meet you," said Ben while shaking Borin's hand. "Well, I think I'll contact Ristar and see if he wants to bring his boys in on it," said Tringad, sipping his drink. "Ben, have a seat, man." "Don't mind if I do." Ben sat down across from Borin, and looked at Tringad. "While you do that, I'll call up Briggs and Elworthy." Tringad put down his drink. "Sounds like we've got ourselves a plan, I just hope it works." -----Aboard the GCV Conquest----- Commander Josh Dilvorn had just taken the last sip of his third cup of black coffee when the comm speakers in the lounge came to life, "Ensign Young to Commander Dilvorn." "Dilvorn here" the commander replied. "Renegade station should be within visual range in a few moments, sir" the navigations officer reported. "Acknowleged Ensign. I'm on my way to the bridge now. Dilvorn out." Dilvorn had stood and was heading for the door even before he had finished speaking to the ensign. Moments later as he appeared on the bridge and crossed to his chair, the commander turned to the communications officer, "Lieutenant Peale, inform the station of our approach and request docking access. Also inform them that we wish to have our reactor upgraded." "Aye, sir." she replied. Dilvorn then tapped a key on his console and the bridge viewer switched to external view. In this mode it could easily be mistaken for a window due to the extremly high resolution and clarity. Just to the left of center a small speck could be seen which was most likely Renegage station. "What is our ETA on the staion?" inquired the commander. "Just over 4 minutes, sir." Dilvorn sat back into his chair and watched as the speck gradually grew larger and larger. Then the communications officer spoke, "Sir, Renegade has cleared us to dock. We are to procede to docking port three upon arrival." Minutes later the Conquest quietly glided through the opening of Renegade station. The docking tractors guiding the ship toward docking port three. Dilvorn opened a channel to engineering, "Chief Henrick, cut power to the main engine and prepare to transfer to station power once we are docked. Then take the reactor offline and shut down all non-essential systems." "Aye sir, I would like to request permission to supervise the reactor upgrade as well, Sir" came the reply from the chief. Dilvorn smiled as he gave his answer, "Permission granted chief. Dilvorn out." The commander then turned to the comms officer, "Lieutenant, open a shipwide broadcast channel." "Channel open sir." The commander stood up from his chair before addressing the entire crew, "All hands, non-essential and off duty personnel are granted temporary shore leave to Renegade station." Dilvorn then noticed that they were in position, "Ensign Young, secure all morings and connect airlocks one and three." "Aye sir. Moorings secure, airlocks are open." "Very well," replied the commander, "bridge dismissed." Within a few moments everyone had made there way off the bridge. Dilvorn reached across to his console and locked out the bridge consoles. He then left the bridge, securing the door on his way out. A few minutes later, Dilvorn walked through the entrance to the bar. He glanced quickly around the room. Noticing a few of his crew already enjoying the station's facilities. He then noticed two familiar faces. Ben Zwycky and Alun Tringad. Even though he hadn't actually met Fleet Cmdr. Tringad in person before, Dilvorn recognised him from his files. Ben Zwycky, on the other hand, he had met before on Orion station. Dilvorn walked over to their table, noticing another commander that he didn't recognise. Dilvorn managed to catch the end of something that Alun was saying, "...I just hope it works." "Did I miss anything?" asked Dilvorn. "We were discussing an abmormality in this report" replied Ben, motioning to the datapad laying on the table. "Do you mind if I take a look at that?" "Go for it." answered Alun, sliding the report across the table toward Dilvorn. As he went over it Ben spoke, "Notice how there's a page missing?" Dilvorn nodded, "Yes, that's quite strange indeed." "We were just about to get some computer experts from my crew to run a residual data analysis on it." "Sounds like the best bet to me, let me know if I can help you with anything." ---A Few Hours Later aboard the Svoboda--- "Well, gentlemen, How did the tests come up?" Cmdr. Zwycky asked the 2 computer techs "Negative" "Nothing?" "Well, it's not been tampered with, or copied or transmitted anywhere, so as far as we can tell this document hasn't been leaked, but not that it didn't deserve to be." "What do you mean?" "Well, whoever administered this document should be sacked. They didn't validate the contents of the report, obey standard encryption procedures, or check on the location where it should be sent. In an intelligence organisation, or any organisation, that's very slack security." "I guess the reorganisation on the fleet has taken its toll on the administrative side of things." "I would suggest the fleet needs to review its security procedures, and do a thorough analysis on all important documents to check for leaks. You know the old saying 'Where there's lax security, there's someone taking advantage of it.'" "Yes, I see. I'll have to pass on your recommendations to the fleet commander." {/rp} That is the whole thread of the ISS mole role play. That should leave the door open for the Insurgents or if they don't want to participate we can have a Gammulan infiltration and assassination attempt. Either way this leaves the door open for some CIOPS role playing also. Fleet Cmdr. Good to have you on the commlink Cmdr.Jamont. Read through all the posts on the RPG forum, especially "The Death Wraith" and get caught up on events and get in touch with Tringad or myself to get instructions for your role in the role play. To all ISS/SCID Fleet Personnel: I also think that Bader should move to Tactical Support Wing Commander. What do you think. I'd like to move Cmdr Zwycky to continue to be my Adjutant, but if you want to keep him, I can live with that. He does a good job of briefings, etc. Here are my recommendations for the possible people to be ISS Vice Fleet Commander: Cmdr Bader, Cmdr. Zwycky, or Cmdr.Dilvorn If Cmdr Zwycky gets it, he will have alot to do, but I don't want to hold him back, if he gets the job, we will find other adjutants. Cmdr Dilvorn does post alot and I think he would make a fine cantidate, and Bader has been around for awhile and has posted alot, so he is a front runner also. I'd like to here from Cmdrs.Collado, Knutar, and Mota today, to see what their status' are. Once we get the ISS structure done, the SCID structure begins, we all have to actively get members in there, promote the Covert Operations fact along with counter intelligence. And remember this, this is so important and I can't stress it enough, post, post post on the commlink, especially in the role playing, that is where we can attract most people. Strategic Cmdr. To all ISS personnel The SC just gave me approval on my fleet structure, and he promoted me to Strategic Commander. My new title is Chief of Fleet Operations - ISS/SCID Fleets. Tringad, I want you to stay in ISS and be it's Fleet Commander, unless you want SCID. I think you know ISS the best. I will need to talk with you for the other Fleet Commander promotion. Let me know your fleet you want and then your recommendations for the other Fleet commander and I'll let you know mine. Cmdr.Jamont you are officially the Intelligence and Espionage Wing Commander There will be promotions in duty position for others, but I am making duty promotions contingent on being active on the role playing scene. I know I am not always there, because of work, I am going to try to change that and dedicate at least 1 hour a day to it. We are in new territory and everyone is watching us, let's kick some ass here guys, and not let the SC down in his trust he has placed in us. I will work out the duty promotions with Tringad over the next few weeks, and get that to Rattler and the SC for final approval. I want to hear from EVERY member today about this and your wish lists. If you can't ask to be considered, you don't want it bad enough. Strategic Cmdr. Commanders, Wing Commander/Squadron Commander is a duty position, not a rank and does not warrant a rank promotion, besides, the SC didn't create a Wing Commander rank so we can't alter that. You will just have the benefit of having the position and that will lead you to the Fleet Commander position if it becomes available. Also, make a note that the SC has done away with the title of Fleet Leader. Now that all Fleets have Fleet Commanders, the title for the position is Fleet Commander. Fleet Cmdr. merging SCID Fleet
Cmdr Ristar replied to Cmdr Ristar's topic in General Multiplayer Fleet Discussions
To all ISS/SCID Personnel The SC has approved my plan for the command structure and ranks of the merged fleets. I have been promoted to Strategic Commander, Tringad has been promoted to Fleet Commander, and there is an additional slot available for a Fleet Commander. I will be working with Tringad in deciding who that person will be. My title is no longer ISS Fleet Commander, but Chief of Fleet Operations - ISS/SCID Fleet. Derek, did you want me to post the ranks with their corresponding number of fleets commanding on here? If so just let me know and I will. Derek, thanks for the promotions to myself an members of the Fleets, we won't let you down. Strategic Cmdr. If you guys don't already know SCID Fleet is part of ISS Fleet. I am not sure of the structure completely right now. I will know more after I know if a plan I have before the SC will be approved or not. If so then it will be better command wise, if not we'll come up with something. Cmdr.Tringad has been promoted to Fleet Commander. Everyone send him your congratulations. That means over the next couple of days there will be a shake up in command, some people will be having additional responsibilities and titles, exactly who and what they will be have yet to be determined. I know Tringad is sick, but I want to talk some people over in some key command positions. For SCID Fleet I have the following strucutre in mind. This is modeled after the CIA. WE might add a directorate, but not sure. Directorate of Operations (actually carries out covert ops and counter intelligence) Directorate of Intelligence (does all counter intel collection and resistance propaganda, psychological operations, etc.) Directorate of Administration (takes care of all logistical, administration of the fleet, and does all research on new weapons, shields, etc.) All ISS Fleet personnel, get in touch with SCID personel that you know of and welcome them and I'd like to get them onto the ISS Fleet mailing list. To:ISS Fleet Members From: Fleet Cmdr. Jeehun Ristar Re: Assimilation of SCID Fleet NOTE: THIS POSTING IS SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT THAN THE EMAIL THAT WAS SENT OUT. READ THIS!!!!!! I am trying a daring thing to get SCID Fleet merged into ISS Fleet. If this happens, ISS Fleet will have a very powerful Intelligence and Counter-Intelligence network. I am recommending that if SCID falls under ISS then Cmdr. Tringad would be promoted to Fleet Commander and head SCID Fleet. I will then do some shifting of people. Tringad if you don't want the job, let me know. I have a couple of other thoughts, but you've been with me the longest. I will oversee both fleets activities, but Tringad will have control over his fleet, he will only get missions from me and it will still fall under ISS control, but it is his to do with as he wants. We will get a list of current SCID members and he will have control. All ISS fleet personnel will remain in ISS Fleet unless needed. ISS and SCID missions will be interchangable so there is no need to change fleets. I hope this will also boost our ranks. For now, Cmdr. Jamont is the Intelligence and Espionage Wing Commander (acting). I want to see how you do through the role play on the commlink now Cmdr.Jamont. I want to see you posting on the "The Death Wraith" role play. If you are going to take the responsibility I need to see it on the role playing board so when we get multi player, everyone will be ready. Derek could be partial to the idea of SCID a part of ISS, that is why he had me post it on the Fleet Related topics. I need for ALL of you to go show your support. If you have any ideas on how this will be better for GALCOM, go show your support. This will be unprescedented if we get this. GO SHOW YOUR SUPPORT. I want this, and I'm sure Tringad wants a promotion. That means some of you will be moving up in positions. Cmdr. Zwycky, I need to talk to you about the Order of Jade Dragon. You have been selected by the Dragon Council to join. Congratulations. Email me personally to receive information about the Order and your duties if you choose to accept the invitation. Congratulations. All you Order members send Cmdr. Zwycky your congratulations. Cmdr Bader, I also need to hear from you, I want to know if your marine battalions are ready for some ground assault training on Titan. I need to hear from you. One other thing I want all posts that an ISS fleet member makes on the commlink to have a link to the ISS Fleet home page. If you don't know how to get the link through the html code, email me and I will email it to you or email Tringad if I don't get back to you with the information. DONT FORGET TO SHOW YOUR SUPPORT ON THE COMMLINK FOR THIS SCID MERGER. Fleet Cmdr. Derek, I have been following the SCID fleet not having a fleet commander and that you might incorporate the SCID into an existing GALCOM Fleet. I was wondering if that fleet could be the ISS Fleet. Here are my reasons. ISS Fleet is in charge of all intelligence and support for the Sol System and other GALCOM systems and allies. SCID is a counter-intelligence/counter-insurgency force. This is also a primary function of the ISS Fleet. All intelligence and counter-intelligence should be done by the same people to coordinate the efforts. I want to consolidate the Intelligence gathering efforts and covert operations into as few scattered areas as possible. If SCID does not come into ISS, then there will be 3 Intelligence gathering fleets, ISS, SCID, and Wraith. That is too many, this leads to confusion within the ranks and miscommunication. I can use ISS as an intelligence gathering fleet and I can use SCID as counter-intelligence fleet. This leaves Wraith as a another intel fleet and the communication lines are more secure. SCID wouldn't be destroyed but would exist as a sub fleet. All current members of the SCID would still function in their normal roles. Since SCID does not have a Fleet Commander, I have a perfect cantidate for Fleet Commander within the ISS Fleet. I do not want to loose him from the ISS Fleet and I think this expanded role could help GALCOM's intelligence and counter-intelligence community. If SCID becomes a division of ISS Fleet then I will recommend that Cmdr. Tringad be promoted to Fleet Commander and assume duties of the fleet. He would report directly to me as ISS Fleet Leader, but he would be responsible for SCID Fleet as if it were a stand alone fleet. He is a very capable cantidate for the job, and I know he wants to stay associated with ISS. This way I can use his talents in a more expanded role. I like Tac's idea of having members from other fleets be on TDY (Temporary Duty) with SCID. These TDY stints can be 6 month rotations that a fleet sends 2 of it's commanders to us. I know first hand through the military in real life how intelligence information can get messed up, I know this is only a role playing scenario, but as BC3K world expands and once we get multiplayer online going, then these lines of communication will breakdown and the confusion will be greater because everyone is going to want to do some form of glory hunting. So if we can control and get this worked out now, it will be a lot of fun for everyone. So I thought that this would be a solution to all the mess. Let me know what you decide. Fleet Cmdr. [rp] 0500, March 15, 3008 Saturn, Sol Ensign Lee was going over some communications data with the Shogun's Tactical Officer, Lt.Cmdr Brett Hull, when the first of the series of intercepted messages began to come in. They were coming from Wraith Fleet who were engaged with a Gammulan Armada. The fighting was at somewhat of a stalemate because the Wraith's could not lock onto the ships due to some sort of interference. "Why are we just now getting these messages?" Hull asked. Ensign Lee answered, "It could be due to whatever is not allowing the lock-on is also jamming their messages or delaying them." "That's true, the weapons lock-on is set for a specific frequency, and they would have to be jamming a broad band of frequencies to be jamming that and their communications. We need to alert Fleet Cmdr. Ristar of this" "Yes, sir, he is in his quarters in a meeting with Fleet Cmdr.Londono, Sommerset, Gallion, and Tringad via the secured transmission hook up" "Get all the data available on this and have Ensign Ayako meet me in the research lab. Once Ristar gets out of his meeting let me know immediately" "Yes, sir" Lee turned back to her console "Ensign Jasmine Ayako, meet Lt.Cmdr Hull in the Research Lab, Ensign Ayako, meet Lt.Cmdr Hull in the Research Lab." Ensign Ayako, the Shogun's Research Officer, was in her personnel quarters doing some research on a new shielding system that GALCOM had been working on. She was in a slight panic when she was summoned to the Research Lab by the TO. She is never paged to meet anyone anywhere, much less the TO. If this was another one of their rendezvous, Brett would never summon me to the lab, he usually comes to her quarters in the evening off duty. She hurrily get herself together and made her way to the Lab. When she arrived, Lt.Cmdr Hull was there waiting on her with a stack of papers. "Jasmine, I need you to take a look at this, and tell me what you think." Hull handed her the papers and explained the messages and that he believed that the probe was somehow jamming the lock on mechanism of the Wraith's weapons systems. "Sir, is there any way we can have them do a scan for electomagnetic feedback?" "I don't know, I can try, what would that do?" "Well, if the Gammulans are somehow jamming a broad frequency range, then it would produce a feedback, and we could determine the bandwidth limits by sending out a signal at different frequencies. At least that would be a place to start. I can try to determine the frequency of the lock on, if all of them are being jammed, then either every ship has the same frequency or they are jamming a broad range." "Get on it then, Ensign, let me know when you have any data, once Fleet Cmdr. Ristar gets out of his conference, I will be with him. Oh by the way, dinner in my quarters tonight, are you still coming?" "It depends on my work load with all of this, Sir, but I would like to" "Ok, Let me know ASAP with that information." Hull left the Lab and headed back to the Shogun's bridge. 0500, March 15, 3008 Falkyrie Homeworld LV-103, Alpha Cygni For years the Falkyrie Resistance movement has been receiving aid from GALCOM. This sometimes comes in political speeches and some aid, but what the majority of GALCOM's mainstream public does not know is the involvement of the Order of Jade Dragon's Special Forces Teams that have been training the Resistance Warriors on a continuing basis and aiding them in raids against Valkyrie and Gammulan Forces. 2 Operational Detachment Alpha Teams (or just A-Teams) from the Order of Jade Dragon's 7th Special Forces have been training the Falkyrie Resistance fighters in ground and space tactics, demolitions, field medicine, covert operations, espionage and counter-intelligence warfare. They have been supported by the ISS Fleet's 103rd Orbital Marine Battalion (Covert Ops) as technical assistance and listening stations through out the area to coordinate the Resistance Movement's strikes. The 103rd is commanded by Lt.Colonel Jo Dugan, a highly decorated GALCOM marine who rose through the enlisted ranks early in GALCOM's existence and then became an officer during The Gammulan Gambit campaign. LTC Dugan is a hard nosed intel machine, he has dedicated his life to espionage and covert ops. He is one of the building blocks of GALCOM's Marine Covert Operation plans and tactics. LTC Dugan was reading through some of the intel data that Alpha Company had received when the Battalion Executive Officer (XO), Major John Callister, knocked on the already open door. "Sir!" Major Callister said "Come on in John, what can I do for you?" "Sir, we have a message from Fleet Cmdr.Ristar. Since he is Director of Covert Ops for the Order, he felt an on hands evaluation should be in order, because the Resistance is discussing an increase in the Resistance Cell. So he wanted to come out and see if more A-Teams would be needed, but he will not be able to make it personally and he will be sending Cmdr.Tringad out in his place." LTC Dugan liked Ristar. Ristar had started out as a marine and was a highly decorated marine before following in his father's footsteps and joining the GALCOM Navy. When he learned of Ristar's appointment as the Intelligence and Espionage Wing Commander under Fleet Cmdr.DeSylva, he immediately put in a transfer for the ISS Fleet. He didn't know much about Cmdr.Tringad, but he liked him. He did know about Tringad's infiltration of the Insurgency, and he thought that took guts, and that's all that matters to him is guts. His philosophy, any GALCOM enemy of the Insurgents, is a friend of his. "Do we know an arrival time of Cmdr.Tringad?" "No, Sir, that has yet to be determined as there is something brewing with the Gammulans, and they are unsure of where they will be, and they will try to figure a way to get Cmdr.Tringad out here." "Let's see what we can dig up on the Gammulan troop movements. Let the Jade Dragon commander know of this and have him meet me at 1000 hours to discuss what we can find out about the Gammulans." "Yes, Sir" Maj. Callister, snapped to attention and did an about face and left. [/rp] Well I hope that will set a stage for somthings. I have a plan about the probe and it will lead into other things. I need Tac, Gallion, Sommerset and Tringad to do a post about a meeting, email me to get an idea of what the meeting is about to make your posts similar. Fleet Cmdr. To: All ISS Fleet Members From: Fleet Cmdr. Jeehun Ristar Re: Tactical Readiness Commanders, On the commlink there is a message entitled "The Death Wraith," I want the ISS to research the details of this ongoing mission, and determine a strategy for each Wing. Cmdr.Zwycky, I want an entire briefing on the situation and any other situation on the commlink. All Wing Commanders, give me a briefing on all situations as it pertains to your command. If any threat is headed into GALCOM territory, let's be ready for it. [rp] 0410, March 15, 3008 Saturn, Sol "Sir, We have a communication coming through. It's coming from a comms listening station somewhere within the Sol system. I can't pin down the exact loacation." Ensign Jenna Lee said as she began to download the message to her terminal. "Patch it through to me Jenna," Fleet Commander Ristar said. As he read through the message, he focused on the request for more information of Falkyrie Resistance Cell growth. After reading the message he turned to the comms officer and ordered, "Jenna, find Cmdr. Tringad, Sommerset,Gallion, and Fleet Commander Londono, and to have them contact him on the encrypted channel through the Jade Dragon Communication Center. Also have all the ISS Wing Commanders report in. And have Cmdr.Zwycky give me a briefing on the events going on." "Yes, sir" "Brett, what assets do the ISS Fleet and Jade Dragon have assisting the Falkyrie Resistance?" Lt.Commander Brett Hull, the Shogun's Tactical Officer, brought up some figures on this monitor at his station and printed them out. "Sir, the ISS has 1 full covert operations battalion supporting 2 Jade Dragon Special Forces Alpha Teams in conjunction with support assets from Wraith Fleet, Sir." "Get in touch with Fleet Commander Londono and have him give me a report on the assests he has in the area, if he still has them there, and to give me that information when we have our briefing later with Tringad, Sommerset, and Gallion." "Yes, Sir" "Jenna, get Lt. Weidmuller on the horn and have him get in touch with me" After a few minutes the Combat Officer, Lt. Ron Weidmuller appeared on the bridge. "Ron, get all the ISS Fleet Marines on alert and to combat stations. I don't know what is going on there but we need to be ready. When I get in touch with the other ISS Fleet Wing Commanders I'll issue an alert to start beefing up security around the Sol system and some of the surrounding systems. We'll probably need to deploy some marines at various points to act as listening stations and as Forward Operation Forces in case of land invasions. All ISS Fleet marine battalions are at DEFCON 3 and activate Defense Plan EDP-5A for SOL system, and notify Prime Fleet Command of the defense situation and possible threat." "Yes, Sir," Lt. Weidmuller saluted and turned and left the bridge. He just didn't want me to do everything for him does he, Weidmuller thought to himself as he was transported to the flight deck. That damn promotion has gone to his head. [/rp] I know it wasn't alot of detail, but I"m trying to get caught up with this and get the rest of Jade Dragon and ISS Fleet into this and coordinated. If I need to know any details let me know and I'll work that into my posts. Fleet Cmdr. A Time For Sorrow, A Time For Healing, Farewell To A Fallen Comrade

my best wishes for all the family members. I understand what it is to lose someone so early as I lost my sister. God be with you. Ristar -
The Intelligence Wing in the ISS has determined that this illegal contraband of music contains highly subversive recordings within the lyrics if the music is played at very slow speeds or backwards. The Insurgents are trying to affect our young people. All GALCOM crafts are to intercept these shipments and do not attempt to listen to them. This is just more of the Insurgent Propaganda at work. This is a feeble attempt at a cowardly act toward innocent civilians by a terrorist group, who are brainwashed by their own propaganda. All seized contraband will be delivered to the ISS Fleet Intelligence Wing upon immediate seizure. I thought it was a good idea for a role play I wonder if we can introduce alot of the independent castes that will be showing up in BC:M into a role play, if you are all interested and want to see how this plays out I know how we can tie some of it into existing role playing.
