I have the rank structure and unit structure already developed and sent to the SC. I have been on business trips and then I had all my wisdom teeth pulled last week or I would have completed the Fleet unit structure, but I'll get that done this week and to the SC, I know I'm behind. If the SC wants I will post the rank structure and unit structure here on the commlink, or he can do that in his own way, it's up to him. I've gotten Wraith Fleet and ISS Fleet done, I've gotten the information I need from Orion and Prime Fleet, I just need to put it onto the program I was using for ISS and Wraith. I was going to wait until Friday to get the information then I was going to structure it myself. If the Fleet Leaders of Prime Fleet and Orion Fleet had forgotten about it, please get me the information to me by this coming Friday, which is January 28, or I'll need to structure your ground forces myself, so I can get the information to the SC by February 1. Ok, Thanks SC. I have a .pdf document stating the overall structure of the ground forces. I will email it to all fleet leaders. Post your descriptions of your fleets so I can determine the type of marine units you will be allotted. There are 2 types of marine units: 1)Orbital Marines (ground forces), and 2)Space Marines. Each BC in each fleet will be allotted 40 Space Marines to act as a security force. Each fleet will be allotted 1 Army of Orbital Marines to use as its ground forces. Each fleet will have a different make up of ground forces depending upon its mission and function within GALCOM. Once I have the description of your fleets function I will determine the type of ground units you will have and then you can come up with their number designations. I am trying to come up with a demonstration unit structure for my wing within the ISS for an example. Fleet Leaders, I am working on structuring the ground forces for GALCOM. Rattler can use a similar format for the Insurgents if he so chooses. I am awaiting approval from the SC on my structure, and as the second phase of the project I need each fleet leader to write out the mission types that his marines will undertake. Now not every fleet will undertake all mission types, not all fleets will have covert operations battalions, not all will have armor battalions, etc. So each fleet must be tailored to a specific purpose. Some fleets will have only space marine battalions, some will have ground force battalions and space marine battalions. I need a mission statement from every Fleet Leader, you can post the information here. Try to be as detailed as possible, that will make it easier for the unit types needed by that fleet easier to determine. Once I have that information and the SC approves my structure, I will give you all a message to select names and unit numbers for each type allotted to each fleet. This is mainly being done for role playing purposes and to just have an established ground forces set up for the future of BC3K. I would like to have all the information on the fleets by the end of tomorrow, so if the SC approves this in the next couple of days then I can get the information out to everyone and you can use the weekend to start thinking things out. Well it's good to be back again, for a while. Anyway, I am trying to catch up what is going on on the forum. I see that Tringad's past about his spying activity hasn't escaped him. I must say that was a fine bit of mission planning Tringad, I remember those days. I wouldn't worry about their idol threats about coming after you, the Insurgents have nothing better to do than target the people that speak out against them or undermine their existance in the galaxy. They have no cause what so ever so, in absence of that they have to chase down GALCOM commanders. The device will allow us to emit our normal GALCOM IFF signal, while at the same time it will allow us to emit the enemies IFF signal. The different signals are scrambled from one another and will ensure they are sent to the proper vessels, but the device can not be used continuously. The IFF emitted a high band width frequency that allowed vessels on the same frequency to determine that they were encountering a friendly vessel. The Order of Jade Dragon was hoping to get these codes to infiltrate Vesperon space and learn of military testing that was being conducted on Frellis and at the Star Station Eridani. They had succeeded and they were trying to get the information to Cmdr.Zwycky for use with his Velvet Strike package. Due to the death of my sister last year and my moving, I was unable to participate in the First Gammulan War, I did some stuff up leading up to it, but I missed the majority of the battle. Sir, Flt.Cmdr DeSylva has left a message with Landing Control for you to report to his office upon immediate arrival at Renegade, the ISS Fleet Starstation, the Communications officer, Janda Christenson, for the GCV Shogun said over the intercom. No problem, Janda, Cmdr Ristar replied Tell them I will be on my way to his office as soon as the shuttle lands. Yes, Sir Cmdr. Ristar finished writing the report of the events and information gathered from the mission that his crew along with other members in the Order of Jade Dragon had just finished assisting the ISS Fleet. The ISS Fleet had been given a mission by GALCOM to do deep surveillance and recon deep into Gammulan space to determine the impact that the First Gammulan War had on the manufacturing capability and morale of the Gammulans. Marine detachments of the Order conducted intelligence gathering missions in surrounding areas where Gammulan atrocities had been committed but never reported to the Gammulan general public or their allies. Certain military and industrial targets were listed as targets of opportunity for espionage activity as secondary targets. All the various specialized fleets within GALCOM were busy reconstructing sites and determining strategies that they had learned from the First Gammulan War, so that this mission could not be trusted to just anyone. The ISS Fleet had been tasked with other various missions and this one called for a high level of covert activity. Flt. Cmdr. DeSylva had come to his second-in-charge in the ISS Fleet, Cmdr. Ristar, to have the Order of Jade Dragon help with this mission. Flt. Cmdr DeSylva had known of Ristars involvement in the Order and had asked him to conduct this mission. As the shuttle rotated to align itself on the landing pad, Ristar gathered everything together and moved to the exit area. The door opened and he stepped out. A group of marines greeted him with a salute and the sergeant in charge of the squad said that they were here to escort him to Flt. Cmdr DeSylvas office. There was a lot of activity at the ISS Fleet Headquarters. There was a new class in session at the ISS Fleet Academy. Many of the marines assigned to the ISS Fleet were on training maneuvers and in the classroom going over tactics and mission planning. As they entered the main level that houses Flt.Cmdr DeSylva and Cmdr. Ristars office, he noticed that some familiar faces. Flt.Cmdr. Junkkari, Flt.Cmdr Londono, Cmdr Gallion, and Cmdr Tringad were walking toward the recreation area on the west side of the station. Ristar found it curious that all the members of the Dragon Council of the Order of Jade Dragon were at the ISS Fleet Station all at one time. DeSylva stood up from behind his large oak desk and walked toward him with his hand outstretched. Ristar, my old friend, welcome back, how are you doing? Fine, sir, its good to be back, and back in one piece is even better. I bet it is, congratulations on the success of the mission. Before you give me more in depth details of your findings, I have planned a ceremony for you and the other members of the Order. I thought because of the complexity of the mission, and the fact that it might cause a little extra psychological effects against the Gammulans, that having a public ceremony would be in order. I have talked with the other Dragon Council members and they have agreed that their membership in the Order can be brought out into the public. I wont divulge the secrets of the Order or any particulars of the Order . That is fine, Sir. But how can we ensure the ceremony will even make it into Gammulan space, their leaders monitor what is broadcast to its own and its allies population. We have that all under control, we have established a secure link to its broadcasting receivers and we will be able to transmit for up to 1 hour without them altering the signal. The marines that were left as monitors on Gammula, they will be contacted and instructed to set up receivers throughout the area to broadcast the signal. Yes, sir, when is the ceremony going to take place? Tomorrow morning at 0800 hours, get to the Comm Center and get a message through to those marines to begin set-up procedures. Yes, sir, we have a new encryption device that has been field tested that has produced outstanding results, Ill go ahead and use it. Good, once you have sent the marines the message, instruct them to send confirmation of set-up 5 minutes before broadcast is to begin. Then meet me in the briefing area, I have the other members of the Dragon Council here and we will meet to go over this mission and future missions, and prepare for the ceremony. Yes, sir. Ristar saluted and headed back outside toward the Comm Center. After he delivered the message to the marine contingent that they had left in the Gammulan Sector, he headed toward the briefing area. Ristar walked into the side meeting room and was met by other members of the Dragon council. They discussed the mission particulars and the possible benefits that broadcasting the ceremony might have. For years the Gammulans have mislead their own population and their allies by telling them the atrocities of the nations of GALCOM, but have neglected to reveal their own atrocities against the galaxy. The mission that was delivered to the Order for completion was a two-fold intelligence gathering and espionage mission. The Gammulan military was powerful enough that the possibility of another full scale war against them would not be advisable without some form of resistance movement within the Gammulan infa-structure to add extra pressure on the Gammulans and make them fight a two-front war. One with GALCOM and one against its own people. The Gammulans are so war-like, and have such a military structure in place that the possibility of a coup detat would not be a situation that the Gammulans could over look. The meeting lasted until the evening and everyone retired to their quarters for the evening. The day began early at the ISS Fleet HQ. Everyone was up at around 0600. Most of the ceremonial hall had been decorated the night before and the final touches were being given. The marine units were busy going through final inspections to ensure their uniforms were up to ceremonial standard, and final walk-throughs. Flt.Cmdr DeSylva along with his wife Emma, strode hand in hand into the Great Hall and took their place on the platoform. The hall was decorated in GALCOM Blue with the GALCOM insignia promenantly displayed. Every area was ornately decorated and every detail was given attention. A long red carpet was laid from the top of the platform, down the stairs, through the middle of the Hall and to the doors where the honorees would walk. At 0750 hours the Comm Center received a transmission that the marines had the receivers ready to go and all precautions and measures were taken into account to ensure that the broadcast would proceed as planned. At 0800 hours the GALCOM anthem played and Flt. Cmdr DeSylva stepped to the podium, all eyes fixed upon DeSylva. The receivers the Order of Jade Dragons marine units picked up the broadcast transmission and began transmitting the signal to all devices capable of receiving regardless of frequency or wavelength. DeSylva began his speech by welcoming all the honored dignitaries and delegates from various nations and the various fleets throughout GALCOM. He began by giving a slight overview of the Order of Jade Dragon and how their existence became known within GALCOM and its purpose of existence. Sometimes, there needs to be an organization that must operate where other units cannot or will not operate, due to their large organizations or due to the lack of training for specific mission types. The Order of Jade Dragon has been formed to combine the best of all the talents of the fleet, but the Order does not eliminate the need for the specific fleets we have now. The Order of Jade Dragon is here to supplement the existing fleets. The Order is not a fleet, but an organization dedicated to assisting GALCOM, in any way possible. We in the Galactic Command utilize their talents to bring about a direct completion to missions when the other specialized fleets talents are needed elsewhere. The Order of Jade Dragon will undertake missions that will allow the other fleets to do their missions. The mission accomplishment that we are honoring here today was a mission to determine the post-war strength of the Gammulan forces. Also the mission objectives were to make aware to the galaxy the atrocities the Gammulans have committed in the name of their own Manifest Destiny. At that time DeSylva begins to show the photographs taken of the cities desimated by Gammulan forces and surveillance footage of Gammulan forces abusing and torturing civilians to achieve some demented goal. There were a number of targets of opportunity listed as secondary targets if it was possible to destroy these facilities. The task force found and destroyed 2 ground vehicle factories, a chemical weapons factory, and a munitions factory. All these facilities were not on the Gammulan frontier, they were not on the Valkyre frontier, they were deep in the heart of Gammulan space on Gamma-1 herself. At that statement, the entire body of personnel stood up and let out a loud burst of applause and cheers. DeSylva decided to let the thunderous applause go on for a few extra minutes for effect. He was hoping the fact that Gammulan civilians watching this broadcast would be aware what their government was doing and that they had an attack so deep within their territory. The Gammulan monitoring station was picking up this broadcast and could not understand why they could not shut off the transmission. Supervisors were threatening subordinates from the top down with death if the transmission did not stop. There was total chaos. DeSylva smiled. Let me introduce you to the brave commanders who brought us this great victory. He is the head of the Dragon Council, known as the Shogun of the Dragon Council  Order of Jade Dragon, Cmdr. Jeehun Ristar. Ristar walked out to a standing ovation and applause. Chants of I-S-S could be heard ringing throughout the building Next are other known Members of the Dragon Council-Order of Jade Dragon, there might be more, but they are keeping their identity secret, along with some of its members. Flt. Cmdr Antti Junkkari Junkkari strode out amongst thunderous applause, chants of O-RI-ON could be heard throughout the crowdand stood to the left of Ristar. Flt. Cmdr Daniel Tac Londono. Tac walked out to cheers of WRAITH, WRAITH Cmdr Alun Tringad I-S-S could once be heard again amongst the applause "And Cmdr. Gallion," Silence filled the as the notorious Corsair was introduced. Gallion just smiled and accepted the crowd's silence. The commanders lined up side by side and walked toward the platform. Then entire way the representatives of the respective fleets cheering their fleets name. Once they reached the podium, the cheering died down and DeSylva spoke once again. The ISS Fleet is honoring the members of the Order of Jade Dragon for their dedication to GALCOM and the security of the galaxy. We are awarding this heroism and service by awarding them an ISS Fleet Commendation. With this each commander walked up to the podium one by one to shake hands with Flt. Cmdr. DeSylva and receive a plaque with the commendation. Please join us in the reception hall to congratulate these commanders, With that the GALCOM anthem played again and DeSylva walked down to the floor and walked out with the honorees. And back on Gamma-1.. There will be more forthcoming about the Order, this organization is not meant to take over existing fleets or leave fleets out, this is a role playing tool that can be used to write into role playing to acquire information or make the actions of a role play go more smoothly and not have to be so rushed. This organization was created for the best of the best commanders, commanders that we on the Dragon council wish to see in the Order will be notified. Cmdr. I just wanted to say hello to all my comrades. It has been a long time since I have been online. I just purchased the v2.0 and I love it. I will soon be rejoining the role playing effort but I have many things going on right now. DeSylva, I hope I still have a job in the ISS.
