  1. How about same time as last Sunday (2000 GMT- 1500 Central) for team CIOPS?
  2. of course, I'm sure Ramis wouldn't object if wraith Commanders joined team Spectre as an AAE as well... Good news, Ben. Demolition will have some fresh faces to face
  3. So how ready is CIOPS for the coming weekend (28th/29th)? Let's try to get at least one match in for you guys this month.
  4. You can only duel against someone from another alliance (i.e. an Insurgent or Gammulan AE if you're playing as galcom, or a galcom character if you're playing as an insurgent). The rules and procedure for duelling are in the MP handbook.
  5. Ben Zwycky accepts J. Smith's challenge for Sunday 11th of June. With or without cloaking?
  6. Attempt successful, log sent to scorekeeper.
  7. change of plans, he'll be trying again tonight.
  8. ISP stability did not permit, so Boran will be trying again on Wednesday or Thursday evening GMT
  9. It was decided at the fleet leaders meeting to use this forum again for Great Race challenges (as well as duel challenges) rather than the one at galcom.net. The scoring system (quoting from the Great Race thread at galcom.net) quote: To keep the scoring of the Great Race in balance with the league scoring system we have decide to apply the score as follows. completing the great race within 10 minutes of the previous month's best time: 500 EP, 50 RP completing the great race within 5 minutes of the previous month's best time: 1000 EP, 100 RP completing the great race within 1 minute of the previous month's best time: 2000 EP, 200 RP completing the great race faster than the previous month's best time: 3000 EP, 300 RP The previous months best time is held by Ben Zwycky at 21 minutes and 10 seconds. If you have any questions on how the race is scored please post them here. this week is your last chance to do the great Race before the new target times come into effect (and they'll be nearly 3 minutes faster, because the best time this month so far is just under 3 minutes faster than last month's) Boran Zavok challenges the Great Race on Monday 23rd May at 1400 GMT (ISP stability permitting )
  10. Welcome to the fleet, Commander Riddick! Please tell us what times you are available online so we can arrange training sessions for you (and update your signature, as Marc said
  11. UCG is like UC AWA lite- look at the system requirements.
  12. I'm very rarely tempted to buy a game (the only game outside the BC series I've bought in the past 5 years was Heroes of Might and Magic IV), but I'll be following this one closely.
  13. I won't argue with you there, SC Well, my current system meets the requirements for BCNG as it is (I'm SOOO glad I waited an extra 6 months before upgrading ) , but I'll still hopefully have a nice powerful graphics card by then. Shouldn't those recommended requirements for BCNG read Athlon XP 3600+?
  14. It's coming.... And the best thing is, the system requirements are not too steep
  15. I'm pretty sure I can make it for an hour, maybe hour and a half. 3000AD teamspeak server, I assume?
  16. Great job, Wolfheart
  17. You just know I can Every Saturday from 1730 to 2000GMT and every Sunday from 1830 to 2000GMT.
  18. sounds good, but that's possibly a little late for me, depending on how quickly we transition from one match to the other. I'm sure Jack and Marc can make that, and I possibly can. As for Rip, I've emailed him about it, so we'll see. edit- I heard from him, he says he might be able to be there, which would be good. [ 05-14-2005, 11:29 AM: Message edited by: Ben Zwycky ]
  19. Oh, and btw, CIOPS would be second behind team Demolition should they win. Team Praetorian would be tied third with Balor Also, if you schedule the match at a time me or Marc can make, you'll be all set
  20. Thanks, for bringing that to my attention, Marc. I have posted in the other thread.
  21. All challenges made using the ladder are GMT. Maybe you'll need to readjust that challenge Praetorian is playing Spectre at 6.30PM GMT (1.30 Central Time*), so reissue your challenge for 8PM GMT (3PM Central Time*) for this Sunday, so it can be held straight afterwards, since you guys should be able to make later times more easily. *now that daylight saving time is in force. I haven't heard from Gavin Sykes for a while, he registered at Galcom HQ and I invited him into team CIOPS, but he never accepted (after 3 weeks I cancelled the invite). Maximus is officially a member of CIOPS, but, like Sykes, has not been to any training sessions yet. I usually require at least graduation from command school (ideally at least one more session after that, the more the better) before releasing a commander into the wild black yonder of a fleet match. Jack Decker could also substitute, as he is very close to your time zone (if not in it), and has earned level 4 clearance (his AAE is currently 6th in the individual standings, so he's a good man to have available as a backup).
  22. Yeah, I think you'll fit in better there.
