team CIOPS has been dissolved due to lack of activity (it has yet to take part in a match this year). It has been removed from the league table, all it's membership removed and Jack and Krasus have been transferred back to team Praetorian to give them more action. When sufficient US-time zone ISS members are trained (up to level 3) and active (one more would be sufficient), a second ISS team will be created with a less misleading name, and those members who have been less active will be split between those two teams. Latest on the bombings Things could have been an enormous amount worse, my sister and her fiancee would have been on the Liverpool Street Underground train that was bombed two weeks ago (killing 7) if they hadn't been up at my parent's house preparing for her wedding on the Saturday, so she was really freaked out when she saw what was happening, and now she's avoiding this nonsense by being away on honeymoon. You know, there's nothing like practising stuff as you learn it to ram those lessons home. You don't have to graduate command school at your first training session, it just gets you straight up to level 2 if you do.

My some miracle/fluke it's working, despite failing to reinstall windows. I'm going to do a full backup before it can go phut on me again.

Either through a hacker attack or a virus or something, my computer is down for the count and I have no idea how long it will take me to get it back up again (am writing this from the computer running linux). If I am not able to make the duel tonight (and it looks very much like I will not), that will be the reason why.

Next time don't wait until the last day of the month . It's sometimes been the second or third day of trying that a valid race was achieved, but that was mainly due to connection instabilities on my end, which look to have been solved now
