IÔÇÖve been having an annoying week. We have to return the new monitor, because it overheats after half an hourÔÇÖs use, and the dsl company after 1 month delay, finally told us that it was never possible to implement DSL on our line. Why they couldnÔÇÖt have told us that the first time round instead of telling us to try a lower speed, IÔÇÖll never know. We'll be seeing if we can generate enough interest in our village to entice the cable operator to extend its network another 10km to cover us, but trying that after we get back from England

sounds good to me, Cedric has been purged (he emailed me and asked to be removed, he is no longer able to be active and hasn't been for a while), and I've given Jorgat more than enough warning to post here with no response, so he's being removed today. Lord Malice has a bad email adress in his profile and we haven't heard from him in months, so he's going too. Medivh got promoted at work and has far less free time than before and is unable to takle part, so we'll remove him, and Jerold Keenan said he'll be getting the latest BC game sometime soon and maybe become active again, so we'll leave him for now. Suddenly we seem a little smaller Damier always had the problem of his work making him only available at awkward times for the rest of us, but he still hasn't contacted us for a while, so I'll send him a PM to ask how he's doing.

I Emailed him asking him to post here a week ago, and he has yet to respond, whereas Commander Neeja responded straight away, so I fear there might be a problem with his application. We'll see.

I feared this was coming. I'll be sorry to see you go, Nick, adn I'll take good care of the fleet for you. Should I remove you from the fleet database and your account from the website forms, or keep you on in case your situation changes? Keep in touch and know that you'll be welcome back here any time. Fleet LeaderÔÇÖs log 21:24 10th February, 3015 Well, after ironing out a few initial kinks the new radar is a vast improvement and I look forward to putting it through its paces under more trying conditions at the next training session. The SvobodaÔÇÖs new mainframe and bridgeviewer has arrived and in simulations its performance is a quantum leap ahead of its predecessor. Unfortunately its high bandwidth radar link is still a couple of weeks away and there are some heat issues with the viewer, so weÔÇÖre still stuck with the old system, reliable as it is. Once all these technicalities are sorted out I see good times ahead. End log check the system specs from now on Commander's logs should be made at the fleet website in the 'Ship's Logs' section (link is in the left hand module column menu) Ship's LogsOnly registered members of the forum can post them and they should be written in html format to display properly.
