Ive been a Battlecruiser fan since v209 came out. I played BCMG for a while. Now that I got a decent comp setup, I installed UC and started playing it today. Cant wait till I capture my first station. Hell I cant wait till I get the transmatrix cloaking device. I hear there are submarines to see in UC, that is really cool. So far I am impressed with the update from BCMG to UC. And I am waiting in anticipation for the next title(s) in the series.

I would like to thank SC for continuing his work, which he has recieved almost nothing but complaints about. I hope you continue to bring this series above and beyond any of the other games that are out there. I for one will continue to spread the word about this series of games to others who I think will enjoy it as much as I do.

Thank you Derek Smart

? to SC. Didn't You tired of this?

3/4 of people came to this board just to say

"Great work!!!!!", "wow" and so on.

Don't You missing about some constructive criticism? Or all the critics banned without notification?

I don't pay to run the board to hear people whine about what they don't like. If they don't like any aspect of the game, thats fine by me. There are lots of other places on the Net they can go and voice those opinions.

Its the game I wanted to design and develop. So, a person either likes it or they don't. If they don't, they shouldn't play it; and most of all, they don't need to tell me about it because I don't care.

Well said! I originally (and for far too long) listened to all the reviewers and stayed away from trying BCM and UC. I then found these forums and started reading all the positive comments from folks and why they liked the game/series. This convinced me to try the game and, I must say, am I ever pleased I did! I even bought a second copy for my son who has been looking for this type of game for a long time.

Definitely, a big thank you for all your efforts SC!

SC, do you honestly think that there are not parts of this game that can be improved? I understand that some people just come here and cry about something, but then there are others that come hear with constructive ideas that would indeed make this game better.

Yes, of course parts can be improved, but game design is not a democracy. If I find something that needs improvement or I come across a valid post of same, I would consider it. Outside of that, I don't care about what someone might consider worth improving on because only I know whats possible and what isn't. Once you open that flood gate of ".....what if?", you open a can of works.

I love that point. That needs to be inscribed on virtual stick and marketed to every game forum for virtual beating into the virtual skulls of those who just don't get it... (probably because their brains are only "virtual").

Why not? Look on egosoft guys.X2 is the one big whlist of X-tension fans. And it's make a positive effect on sales of X2(at least in Europe).

Uc has nice progress from BCM. I like it (and I will like it even more when my Uc box arrive in:)).

But, If we speak about future, I'm not interested in grafic improvment, I absolutely don't care about shaders and such rubbish.

I'm looking forward for more interesting gameplay,

new type of missions, upgrades and so on.

Because the person that owns the rights to it says it isn't. That's all that matters.

The SC's attitude on this is basically that he's going to design the game based on his vision. If you want to come along for the ride, hop on. If not, go play another game.

Thats not to say he doesn't listen to suggestions however. I remember him changing the FP controls just before the release of UC based on user feedback. He solicits feedback on many other things as well.

Then why is UC out-selling it?

Exactly. I just don't encourage wanton acts of useless suggestions because I have the attention span of a gnat on acid.
