Guest Grayfox Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 ok this is a topic for those of us that have guns, or any other type of weapon. post here and lets see what you guys got! all i have currently firearm wise is my H&K USP .40 cal... i almost wet myself everytime i hold it, and it is a dream to fire. soooo easy to do a figure 8 double tap... downside is the mags only hold 10 rounds, but i figure if i cant hit em in 10, then i need to give up shooting. melee weapon wise, i have 3 swords, 1 being a replica of the sword "el cid" used, and one being a decent sized 2 hander. i also have a manriki (a 3 foot chain with a weight attached to both ends), and a few throwing stars for show.
Bandus Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 I have too many weapons to list in all honesty. I collect swords and I collect guns. :-)
Guest $iLk Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 Maudi AK-47 with about 10 30 round mags sits in my bedroom (1/2 hollow points, 1/2 FMJ). Along with my mossberg 500 pistol grip pump-12 guage shotgun loaded with 00 Buck. I've got a couple 'fist' knives that are meant to punch with and have tips and sides as sharp as arrowheads with a hollow split down the middle to prevent a wound from closing. Complimented by an asp and stun gun. I've also got a tactical bulletproof vest. Good thing for my ex-wife that I'm emotionally balanced for the most part...
Wolferz Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 All I have are a couple of Blonde Stock British.303's Wanna go Moose hunting?
weegee_101 Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 Ugha, the only gun I own is an early WW2 Mauser Kar-98k. If any of you have ever shot this 7.92 wonder you understand why everytime I think of it I start to swoon. The weapon, even with iron sights, is one of the most accurate guns I've ever shot. Its also a good hunting rifle being as its got the 7.92, but honestly, I don't like hunting with rifles. Gimme a composite bow, then I'll go hunting.
Cruis. In Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 well not a collector or anything, but just a glock 17. 17 rounds...18 if you chamber one then put another in the 17 round mag. its 9mm. since using the glock I kind of like NOT having a hammer and no external safety to worry with. but guns with hammers are fun. glock is just the law enforcement choice. other than tactical officers who use usp's. ive fired a 303, heh heh weird, and m16 love the m16 it's accurate.
echo Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 I have a sword. It's dull but the handle has cool artwork...looks Roman. I don't own guns, nothing against them just don't have any. $ilk, you kill me!
Guest $iLk Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 quote:$ilk, you kill me!Really? I don't think I have that much... my friend has about 13 different guns and several knives... At least everyone knows which house NOT to break in to...
DennyMala Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 quote:Originally posted by DREADA: Don't let me stop ya, but listening to all this gun-tech talk, you simply have no idea how shocking this sounds from here in the UK More than 1 in 4 people in North America owns a gun!! Here in Italy too!!!! However I've something like 65/70 knives of various kind in my bedroom, I like to collect them and everytime I go to a new place I search for a knife as a souvenir... possibly a local handcrafted (...and expensive) knife. My father and my grandfathers have several hunting weapons, about 7/8 12 gauge rifle, 1 24 gauge rifle, and an compressed air carbine that I eas using since when I was young to practice. The only serious thing I have fired is the BERETTA AR70/90 SC that is the standard issue rifle of the Italian armed forces; pretty cool and accurate...I was almost able to broke the stick that hold the target but as soon as my instructor realize what I was trying to do he gave me a knock on the head and shout at me...
Cruis. In Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 I just wouldn't want to be responsible for so many knives in my house.
Guest $iLk Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 Would make for a creative juggling act...
Grizzle Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 The only weapon I have is my wits. Yeah, I know, some weapon huh? Well, it's gotten me this far
Supreme Cmdr Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 I have a ZS10 for when I need to keep them at bay. And for melee, the butt of a SCAT1 works wonders.
Guest Posted March 18, 2004 Report Posted March 18, 2004 OK, I'll play.... I have a CZ-70 .32 caliber pistol for concealed carry, I have a phoenix arms .22 pistol for plinking, and a Walther PPK .32 again, for my backup weapon. The Walther is too expensive to carry around, but if I lose the CZ, I have the Walther, they are almost identical, except the Walther is brushed steel instead of black. I ALWAYS carry my CZ-70, 11 rounds, 10 in the mag and 1 in the chamber. Very reliable weapon.... If you have a CWP(Concealed Weapon Permit), use it!! Rifles, HKP, 9 mm assault rifle, AR-14(civilian equivalent of the m-16), A Ruger 10-22 for plinking and a single shot bolt action .22 for teaching my kids how to shoot. I have others, but those are the main ones. I also have a safe for them, as well as a safe for the ammo, about 1000 rounds per caliber. Oh, forgot about the 12 gauge pistol grip shotgun for in home defense. The kerchunk of a shotgun loading a round is usually enough for any burglar to fill their pants and beat feet the other direction full speed.
rjy01 Posted March 18, 2004 Report Posted March 18, 2004 Ok, here's mine: 9 MM Stainless Steel Beretta 92F with the pre-gun law 15 round clips Ruger .357 Magnum(I sold my Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Magnum. Sigh, I miss that gun.) Master Replicas Type II Phaser Oh, I almost forgot - 4 foot Klingon bat'telh

Ohh, now why did you have to bring that up? Where do I start? M-16 of course, military Issue 45, military issue 9mm, both handguns of course. M-16 with Grenade launcher, Law of course, Vulcan, antiaircraft weapon, around 10000 rounds a minute, placed on an APC. 60 caliber mounted on an APC, 60 cal mounted on a Deuce and a half, 50 caliber, mounted on an APC, and one mounted on an M-60A3 TC position. Coaxial, automatic weapon which sits beside the BIG gun on the M-1, 120MM M-1 main gun. I can't remember the caliber, 150 or 180 caliber Mobile artillery gun. I cannot remember the name of it, sits on a HUMVEE, has a cable that follows it out so you can steer it, that one was fun. The big guns on the M-1 were always my favorite. In Commo, you get around, it was a ball. I also got to play in an A-10 once, never left the ground of course, but got to sit in the cockpit and get a good look at the main gun, NOW those are COOL. They fire and look like they hover, it just stops dead, it's a wild thing to watch. Oh, almost forgot, got to help take apart and clean the main guns on a spectre once. Was waiting for a plane headed for Europe at Tinker AFB in New Mexico, and some of the Air Force guys asked for volunteers to help tear down and clean them. Now that was fun, and the stories those guys had, now that was just WOW!!
rjy01 Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 quote: a bat'telh? how much you wanna sell it for??? lol. That's my baby! It's made from 1/4 inch stainless steel -- not aluminum like the ones you see at conventions. I picked it up a few years from a small sword maker in Florida (Golden Age Productions) who later had to quit selling them because Paramount jumped on him for copyright infringment. Can you imagine the look on an intruder's face if you came running at him with one of those? Even if he had a gun, he'd probably be too busy crapping himself to pull it out.
Charles Lindsey Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 I have two of These 4" stock knife three blade One of These Mini trapper from Case And an Alaskan Ulu (whale cutting) And one of these . Traded it for some Popular Hot Rodding Magazines. I also have a mini Case pen knife. And a Case Changer. It has the stock blade, a fillet blade, and a tree/bone blade. Wolferz Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 WOT??? No Paladin shooters in here? M-60, fun to fire but packing that pig sucked. Especially if you had drawn one from the main armory that the barrel wouldn't stay attached to. we didn't find out about it until we were in the bush. LOL And of course the M-16. Loved that weapon. The one I drew in basic wasn't made by Colt, so I never had a problem with it. All the targets on the Little Russians range died. Freaked the Drills out big time! M-203 Grenade launcher. With chalk shells...Bummer:( LAW rockets. Frag Grenades C-4 TNT Dynamite. All that fun Engineer stuff
