$ilk, I agree with the wife statement. My wife recently started complaining about how her PacBell won't do The Sims for her anymore with the recent expansions. It works but moves like molassis. So I suggested that I build her a new one. She said I could share mine instead, and said, "How will I know if it is better. Maybe I should test it on yours first." So, against my better judgement, I installed it. Needless to say, she wants to play again. So I am now going to be getting a part a month for her machine, until I have enough for a working computer. I figure maybe I can just surprise her one day with a shinny new box on her desk. I can't wait!!!

I don't know about heat, but if I had to guess, I would say probably not a problem, as it is just standard, light, oil. It may thin out a little, that is all. If you go this route, you probably only need a wee small amount.

Go to any sporting goods store, Walmart even. Back in the fishing department, there are syringe type tupes of light oil, with needle like applicators. Buy one of those, and use it in place of the WD40. Does it work? Don't know, but worth a try as they are cheap to buy. I always have one in my tackle box for my fishing reels.

Notice I said properly, that doesn't mean something that was ported over. Can you immagine how dumbed down BCM would become to survive on a console? I will never own a gaming console as long as there are titles available for the PC. [ 05-08-2002, 12:20: Message edited by: Greg Miller ]

Totally Awesome movie, and even the wife liked it. Did any of you stay for upcomming The Incredible Hulk movie trailer that was played after the credits got done? I tried, but they didn't show it during my viewing. Oh well.

My wife was coming to get me to for spiders in the bathroom. 2 of them were on the shower door as she was taking a shower. After she ran and got me, by time I got there, they had disappeared. Well they showed up again, one by one these times, and lets just say they are now swimming with the fishes. Glad you and the family are ok $ilk. [ 05-02-2002, 12:53: Message edited by: Greg Miller ]

I whole heartedly agree with you SC, they should just take him outback and shoot the S.O.B. 20 months (That's right, months) is not nearly long enough. [ 05-02-2002, 12:31: Message edited by: Greg Miller ]

Major damage, oh boy...That's what happens when you let a bunch of n00bs climb into your command chair, and play with pretty flashing buttons, they have no clue as to what function they actually do. Chaos soon consumes the bridge, then the rest of the ship, of which becomes easy pickings for the hostles.

Congratulations Jag.

If I had to choose between the PC and the TV, PC would always win hands down. So SC, when is your scheduled interview set to air??? [ 04-25-2002, 12:28: Message edited by: Greg Miller ]

Still have to get my City taxes in the mail. Fed and State were done during the past week. I've never waited this long before. The Fed's are giving us...ahh, I mean my wife, a little over a G back that she is paying off her car with. The Damn State of Pennsylvania is getting greedy, normally if it was $2 or under, you could forget about it, including refunds. Now they want it ALL, and I owed $2 from interest income.

Request Granted. May he get better, as I will keep you and your father in prayer.

Star Trek: Bridge Commander (Full Version)
GREG MILLER replied to Scrivener's topic in General Chatter
Hmm, I just d/l the demo over last weekend. After I got done with it, I felt that this game was something I wanted, but yet, didn't feel like it was worth buying at full price. I may wait till the price break to buy. -
You are hereby promoted to the rank of Private. Please report to Lt. JJ, for reassignment. Congrats, you've earned it. Take care of him JJ. [ 04-07-2002, 19:07: Message edited by: Greg Miller ]
