I have a brother-in-law that picked up Operation Flashpoint. Only problem is he has an older HP with an integrated 8meg ATI card, and the game needs a minimum of 16. So while he is comtemplating a new vidcard, I borrowed it from him in the mean time. The gameplay is great, but the vehicle controls are totally ackward, as they are still based on the same FPS values. I mean flying a plane, or helecopter with your mouse??? Graphics are another story, as everything looks ok, execpt the greenery. It definately needs a revisiting. [ 02-06-2002, 12:50: Message edited by: Greg Miller ]

Happy 23rd Birthday Foss. Gee, I remember when I turned 23. Enjoy your day David.

Cmdr Greyfox, you are in the right place to be. Format your Sig according to Cadet Epsilon5's. Then go here and make yourself known. Welcome aboard the Orion Fleet, Greyfox.

Maybe it is a good thing Derek doesn't support Force Feedback.

Welcome aboard the Orion Fleet Cadet Baldor. Your sig still needs a little freshing up. Look at Cadet Roger Wilco 2 posts above yours and follow that example. If you don't have a ship name, that is fine. Need help, just yell, and somebody will be along to help you further. Oh, and go here, and make yourself known. For future referrences go Here The ConservativeSwapfileUsage=1 tweak does cut down on the size of the swap file, and I am running happily with 512mb. As always though, YMMV!

Yes, this is good news, Thanks SC. Krekol, I believe NT4 does not support DirectX.

Heh, I got my wife a Nancy Drew Mystery game for her PC. (She like mystery games.) We both had the day off on the 26th, she spent the day playing, I was reloading windows on my machine. As soon as she got stuck, she asked me if the game came with a start sheet. I found one, and she read it, which didn't offer much help as she was pretty much past it. Then I heard her whine, "Tex Murphy at least gives you hints, this is hard." After that it was off to the internet for "hints". After a few print outs, she resumed game play, and finished the game by 8pm. Now on the box, it states there is 20 hours of game play, and I don't think she even got in 10. Now I will admit, I was alittle upset, as I bought the game for her to enjoy and now she is done with it. Oh well, her birthday is in Feburary, so now I can by the rest of the Nancy Drew series, and maybe even disconnect her modem while she plays. (Yea, that will fly real well. )
