I've sent both David Foss, and Joseph Bosch ICQ messages, telling them to fix their email addresses in their profiles.

Just picked mine up from a EB Games in one of my local malls. It was the last one on the shelf. I was supposed to get it from Babbages, but the only copy they had left sold before I got there. Here is a direct quote from the salesman as he was checking me out. "Can't even keep this game on the shelf for 2 hours." They are selling like hotcakes I tell ya.

Good God, guys/gals, you should not have used that email address for your forum profile here, it falls under the same rules as a Hotmail or Yahoo email account. You are all ordered to provide a valid email address for your profile here before the SC's deadline. Now crack to it!!!

Iraq information minister - a total riotous loon
GREG MILLER replied to Supreme Cmdr's topic in General Chatter
lol!!! He is officially now the Iraqi Bullshit Minister. I'd love to see him giving one of his fantasy world press conferences, and right in the middle of the whole denial, US troops storm in and arrest him, right on TV. -
That is fantastic Nova. Since the Orion Fleet mail server is still down, email here: [email protected] After I get an email from you, I will then send you my real email addy. I will not post it here, as I do not want to get out to spammers. If there is anything you need of me, let me know.

quote:Originally posted by Fermin: Yeah but what do you think about the Radeon 9000 vs the Radeon 8500 vs the GForce 3 or 4 or whatever (I'd like to try to keep it well under $100.00) From what I understand, the Radeon 9000 & 8500 are basically the same thing, with very minor differences, exactly what I don't know. I know the Geforce 3Ti is better than a Geforce 4MX400, but a lot more expensive (I think). I'm just trying to get the best bang for my buck and wanted to know you guys opinion. Does anyone have some sort of chart that has all of them lined up with the features they have? Thanks!!! Juan The Radeon 9000 is actually slower than a Radeon 8500, which has actually been renamed Radeon 9100, just for that fact. Juan, go and read my post at the top. I found a GF3 Ti200 for $93 shipped for Race. The GF3 is not even in production anymore, and is not sold at the original price. The shops are trying to get rid of these cards. Just to clear up the confusion on this matter. If anyone of you are planning on getting Battlecruiser:Generations, look at the product page. You will need a minimum of a Geforce3, an certainly not a GF4mx to play that game, as it is requiring those vertex shaders. Why throw money away on a vidcard that is becoming obsolete fast is beyond me. Either save for the proper card, or just buy it.

Happy Birthday Gummy, Gallion, and SC. I fear the Fox has stepped into a hornets nest. I just turned 30 back in December, and I refuse to feel old. The kid inside of me isn't dead yet.

Happy 15th Elio

I agree with EP5, that chin turret is a dead giveaway. Good job as always.

You could get a Geforce 3 Ti200 for around $93 shipped with 128megs of VRam at newegg. Atleast that would be better than a castrated Geforce 4mx, which is just a rebaged GF2. The future of Gaming is soon to require a minium of a GF3 anyway for the Vertex Shaders that the GF4mx series doesn't have. They should have never named those new MX cards with a misleading Geforce 4 badge, as they are not even up to Geforce 3 standards. The true Geforce 4 cards are the Ti series. These people better be thankful Sadam didn't round them up, and select there "shield" positions for them. What a bunch of stupid morons.

If you can build it yourself, then NewEgg is your friend. Seek and ye shall find.

Iraqi soldiers surrender to British paratroopers
GREG MILLER replied to Supreme Cmdr's topic in General Chatter
I hope Suddam doesn't find out about this, or these soldiers are toast. -

Race, If you can't get this sorted let me know. I know you are in Pittsburgh, and I could come over and take a look at it. No charge ofcourse. Do you get this message: Non system disk, please install system disk. Or something along those lines? Do you get a C Prompt, looks like this: C: If so, see if you can do this: C:dir and hit the enter button. I too have been Demoted to Ensign. It is all explained in this thread.

After seeing this, I'm glad Activision didn't get there hands on the 3000ad games, they are not worthy. But then again, they probably wouldn't of signed a "Derek Smart" contract either.

Online banking for checking account
GREG MILLER replied to Charles Lindsey's topic in General Chatter
I have yet to really get into the Online Banking thing, while my wife loves it. Although I too haven't stepped up to a teller in the last 5 years. I'm a ATM Junkie.
