I found your system specs Deener. to make a long story real short - you are up the preverbial creek without a paddle with this system. Basically - you have 4mb of integrated video memory. The video chip and stuff is intregrated onto the motherboard. short of procuring a PCI video card your are hosed. BC3K requires 8mb of video RAM to function. two ways to fix this: 1 - Buy a new and better computer that does not have the video integrated on the motherboard (never cared for these types of computer systems personally). 2 - buy and install a PCI video card. A Geforce MX card can be found for around $125-&150 USD. You can probably find a v5-4500 PCI v-card for the same price or even cheaper. Now to the real dark side of this moon - BCM will not run on your current system. Look at the products page for details. What you have is a real basic computer that is good for basic computer stuff (word proccessing, e-mail, etc.) and very light gaming (solitaire, hearts, minesweeper, etc). Bottom line: IMO there is nothing that we can do for you on this forum until you either get a better computer system or install a video card with at least 8mb of RAM. This is my opinion only. Video sems to be the problem, need info. What are you system specs? Deener, It seems that I recall you had the same difficulty when you first arrived at the forum- do you still have those notes? BC3K runs fine after you initially install, the impression I am getting is that things start to screw up once you begin to apply the patches. You may have a bad patch. Suggest the following: Uninstall BC3K and delete install directory. Search for the bc3k.ini file in the .windows directory and delete it to. Download v2.0-v2.08 patch Download v2.08-v2.09 patch Download the mappak.exe file Reinstall BC3K Copy v2.0-v2.08 patch to the BC3K installation directory. Apply the v2.0-v2.08 patch Copy the mappak.exe file to the installation directory Apply the mappake.exe file. Copy v2.08-v2.09 patch to the BC3K installation directory. Apply the v2.08-v2.09 patch. Run the sound setup.exe via dos window or double click on it using explorer. Run BC3K Post results in this thread. Copy any and all error messages verbatum and include them in your post. Noticed the same thing when I was scripting my IACM script. To tell the truth - the whole FCC ticked me off in BC3K unitl I had enough EPs to get the vaulted FCC in my own right w/o a guest on-board. Learn GBS first and GBS-II will be a cake walk. Do not atempt to change the game universe with GBS, just make some mission or ACM scripts - you have been warned As to documentation - you have all that is available to the public. Those docs along with a plethora of note taking and trail and error will get ye past the undocumented text. hmmm...not good. You may have a bad v2.08 patch file since v2.0 runs w/o any problems yet when you patch to v2.08 it crashes. Short of re-downloading and applying v2.08 anew I am stumped too. You can beath now and start learning GBS for BC3K Tac To all would be scriptors - do not attempt to change the BC3k universe by making new regions or modifying the objects - they work fine as is! To do so will result in massive headaches and heartburn for all concerned you've been warned Just learn how to script a mission or two and combine them into an ACM. Make sure that you apply the bc3kmappak.exe. Try that and post result. TTFN
